I love your Support Chicken! I wouldn't want to give up the chicken either! The hat for your husband was perfect!!! I love Mussels!!! The shops you went into were great to see, I was immediately drawn to the blue & yellow yarns!!! I love to watch you knit! I don't mind seeing the same destination... the places you've been are worth sharing often!

Wonderful episode ! I don't find the content of your podcast repetitive nor lengthy. I really appreciate that you regularly present Canadian yarns. I have a great memory of eating mussels near a beach at a camping in the Magdalene Islands. That brings me back a few decades ago... What a great trip !!! ❤❤❤

I’m a knitter living here in St. John’s, and just found this episode and your channel this morning, while cross-stitching and thinking about what knitting project to pick up next. I hope it doesn’t sound too corny to say your episode fed my soul. Not only are your projects beautiful and your thoughtful discussions of them inspiring, but starting the episode off with a land acknowledgment, and just your tone throughout the whole episode, were so lovely. I’ve been looking for the perfect pattern for my first cardigan to try, which I may have just found, among many other treasures, in this episode. Love the support chicken, the toque, the cowl, Wool Trends-all of the things! Thank you!!!

Yes, they are a staple , once we have a few good feeds of mussels, then we start getting creative and at least once a summer we have a potluck together with family, friends and neighbors, and we all bring a diff dish with mussels. Just fun in the Maritimes. That yarn is beautiful. Thanks for taking us with your on the travels.

I have enjoyed mussels on the beach. I love clams and mussels and some good memories come from traveling to a beach and getting mussels and clams. I loved the Knit One Murder Two series. The books were very simple, easy to knit to, and I had a delightful time figuring out who did it.

I have eaten mussels but never on the beach! Love your podcast. Each time you are on the same place is fresh and new, don’t be concerned that we require new. Just showing us new views of the area, new little haunts is great! Especially love that you acknowledged the First Nations peoples. I really enjoy your podcasts and especially those you filmed in the beautiful city of St John’s. I’ve seen all of them and they bring back such nice souvenirs. I visited Newfoundland last June and just fell in love with the place and the people. And yes I’ve had mussels… not on the beach but in St John’s! A wonderful meal at restaurant no. 4. years ago I read a book called "The Homecoming". The children in the story was on their own and picked mussels for supper, so with that said, I took my four kids out gathering mussels and we cleaned and prepared them. I am almost finished with my Together scarf. they are beautiful in every combination of colors.
