@@yungsmokes1 why? that's actually stupid xD they don't get paid by selling consoles but selling games and there are more current Gen players than next Gen, so why would you leave out a game mode like that, which is made by a moder in like 2 months anyway
I think the coolest part of the eras features is that we are going to learn about so many players and coaches that the average modern NBA fan hasn't heard about. I'm pumped for these rebuilds!
@@seankoethe7286 I mean even if it's only 7 or 8 real players per team, that's still so many borderline all stars and role players we get to learn about. That's pretty huge IMO.
@@seankoethe7286 There’s gonna be tons of roster updates and draft classes that fans will create. 2k kinda paved the way for that so they didn’t have to pay for licensing for every single player from the 80s-now it works
Matt, this mode is, on the whole, fire! Also, those features that you mentioned not being that accurate, are actually quit accurate. For example, Timmy was making about 12 million for the years 2002-2004 and Carlisle coached the pistons, too, before IT got fired by the Pacers and Carlisle became their HC.
People can complain all they want about 2K, but they do try to innovate a lot with the game. Not saying there aren't things to complain about, but it is a much more in depth game than Madden and I see still getting better
Please do that Yao Ming rebuild, and would love to see a rebuild where you take control of team in the Kobe Era and then progress into 2023 and see how much roster accuracy you were able to achieve
Dope vid homie, would’ve loved to see you take a shot at the 4th pick in the Bron draft and just take whoever of the big 4 fell (Bosh), definitely would’ve solved the rest of the Big minutes but you still got it done in a much more realistic fashion😂😂
you need to work on that 2000s basketball history bro haha Rick Carlisle first head coaching job was Detroit, he was 1 of Larry Birds old assistant coaches. Love the energy tho got me wanting to play 2k for sure. I was playing nba live 2003 doing rebuilds like this in real time haha.
Go from the Magic vs. Bird Era and control the Knicks and make them a dynasty all the way up till current day. It’s like therapy. The first thing I’m doing when I’m getting the game
can you do that? I didn’t see anything about being able to play past the current era your in, for instance when you load the era up it says “2000’s” or “1980’s”
The irony of that horry/person trade, is that they grew up within 20 minutes of each other. Horry from Andalusia and Person from Brantley. Both small towns in south Alabama. I’m actually from the town between them lol
Hey Matt itd be great if you could do a 2000s what if raptors rebuild with that hypothetical carter for dirk & nash trade that supposedly happened circa 2002
Hey guys for some reason i can't access my nba in 2k23 like the option won't show in my home screen is there something I'm missing if anyone could tell cuz I really want to play the new eras mode
I’m in 2010 this is my lineup for this eras lakers PG - Jameer Nelson SG - Kobe Bryant SF - Demar Derozen PF - Kevin Durant C - Deandre Jordon 6th - Lou Williams 7th - Jason Terry 8th - Chris Webber (created) 9th - Nick Batum 10th - Marvin Williams
The only thing that could beat Shaq back in the day was cardio. He was truly unstoppable in the post. You could double him and he would just power over people. But he was always out of shape and carrying way too much weight.
