I’ve recently been born again as of Nov. 2018. I always believed in God and became a lukewarm Christian over time. I did shrooms, drank, but mostly smoked pot everyday. I look back and can’t believe how patient Jesus has been waiting for me (I’m 38). I have been saved by an angel or Jesus (not sure at the time) at least twice, but possibly 3 times. A voice told me to let off the gas pedal when I was going through an intersection, as soon as I did, a truck blew a stop sign that would have killed me. I also fell asleep at the wheel another time and WOKE up while driving sitting upright and very much positioned like a robot. I ended up on the other side of town somehow! Fell into a pool’s deep end as a child, somehow my mother knew to check on me and pulled me out. I had another experience where I was praying for a relative that was brutally murdered and burned alive years prior. I was HIT like a sledgehammer with unexplainable peace and joy. Instantly tears poured out of my eyes and I had the breath sucked out of me, totally winded. It was like I was experiencing the joy of heaven but my human body could not handle it! I also experienced an interaction with several demons in the basement of a psychic lady’s house who summoned them and spoke to them nightly. The fear and anger I felt as their eyes pierced my soul was like nothing of this earth......,over and over and over Jesus was calling me!!! I was too much of a fool to notice, even though I believed in Him! In November of 2018, after a minor argument with my fiancée, I heard a demon’s voice talk to me telepathically in my mind- “I hate you, I’ll kill you and tear your family apart.” With the most conviction in my soul I commanded that thing to leave my house in the name of Jesus Christ. Every room in the house I yelled at it. I felt our Lord blast through my house and beat those things down! Whoosh gone! I prayed and thanked him and repented for allowing them to get close to me. He talked to me telepathically asking me questions and made me feel the guilt of my sins. Lots of information as a sort of psychic download into my heart and mind simultaneously. Question 1: “After all I’ve done for you, what have you done for Me, and others?” Question 2: “Am I NOT enough for you?” Then, the weight of my sins lifted, it was incredible. Since that moment, I’ve had no desire to drink, smoke, blaspheme, masterbate, be angry, stressed out or sin at all. Wanting to share love with no other possible explanation. I notice the tiniest signs he puts in my path....I see them right away and chuckle, seeing He really does work in mysterious ways. I fully understand how to have a relationship with him and not need to physically see or hear our relationship. He is incredible people! Let him into your heart! I had felt in my soul the the extremes of joy and sorrow through just some of my life experiences..... Feeling the presence of God and Satan deep inside through strange encounters. For that, I am blessed to KNOW Christianity is the truth, yet I STILL tried to not fully commit. He wants us all to repent and accept Him. He actually told me this! Don’t think you can sin all your life and God will be OK with it. He really will reward you if you follow with all your heart!! The thing that strikes me is how the Lord allows Satan to overplay his hand (and scare us half to death!) and then we get the reality of good vs. evil; light vs. dark; truth vs. error and finally: Yeshua vs. Satan. Those verses from Isaiah 30:19-21 are overwhelming. I felt the Lord hid Himself from me for a little less than two decades & fed me with the bread of affliction. Since I accepted JESUS as my saviour and died for my sins , I didn't know what are the truth about Jesus. I know in the Bible about his gospel etc. Let's say I was blind for the truth about God and his truth. I was Catholic before. And I know what you mean About Mary. People who accept Mary into their life , somes are the same story but not the same experience /happened. I know you know about Mary the mother of JESUS. Must not worship her because she not God. And Mary is not the mediator or not a saviour. One and only , JESUS is the only mediator, creator, healer, deliverer, saviour, Redeemer, a living God and the Almighty God. If you mind the same experience if people accept Mary into their life , I don't think so. But we are all the same sinners. No one is perfect, Jews, Gentiles, Arab or Muslims are sinners. No one is Holy . Only Jesus. He died For our sins. Woshiping or venerate Mary or saints are idols and must not worship them. In Leviticus 26:1-Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up [any] image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God." In EXODUS 34:14- For thou shalt worship no other god: For the LORD , whose name is Jealous, is a jealous GOD." Pray and worship only to JESUS. GOD IS a spirit: and they that worship Him must WORSHIP him in spirit and in truth. "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you FREE.-John 8:31-32.". As a nonpracticing Christian, I am watching this series purely by accident, and the way in which the contributors open their hearts and explain their journey of discovery amazes me. The fact that they are Jewish yet have the courage to discover their own identity makes me look at my own identity, makes me re-evaluate my own opinion of the Jewish religion and helps me see them as fellow travelers on the road of life, quite a shock.
As a gentile who teaches people how to tell their conversion stories, never have I heard so many truly amazing encounters with God and Jesus as I have heard here. Jews truly are the chosen, I praise God for them as my older brothers and sisters. Now you my friends have a great responsibility, for whom much is given much is required.
These stories are such blessings for me and really enjoy watching them, it's like my story I was in prison and G-d reached down for me and He taught me and kept me company while I was in the darkest place in my life, and He was my light and I remember for me it was the first time that I had ever celebrated a Passover me ever, and it was so touching for me that just as his people were in prison when they celebrated the First Passover so was I, and what I mean by that is that they were not allowed to do as they desired so worshipping and crying out to G-d was all that they had and I had as well.

It's interesting how so many of us involved in the drug culture we're saved while in it. I was raised Catholic but found no value in it as a teenager. When I was saved and read the New Testament, I knew I couldn't go back to it. I love to hear these testimonies of Jewish believer. I think it's because I have a sense of how difficult it must it must be. But God is good and loves so much He always has a way. Thanks for sharing your testimonies, they are very powerful.
You left Jesus's one true Church for a man-made "Bible only" religion. Jesus never preached "sola scriptura," or "sola fides," or "sola gratia." How could there be 3 solas? That in itself is contradiction. Luther threw the Epistle of St James out of his edition of the German Bible because James explicitly denies Luther's made-up doctrine of salvation by faith alone. Luther divided Christianity though Jesus prayed that His followers be one as He and the Father are One. Luther gave protestants private interpretation of Scripture, though St. Peter's Epistle says no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of private interpretation. Protestant theologians became God-denying materialists in the 19th century, leading to our secular, anti-Christ cultures of today in western and northern Europe. Come home to the true Church. Check out Toy Shoeman's "Jesus: the Promised Messiah of Judaism" that tells how the Catholic Church is the fulfillment of Judaism.

Yep so understand-this was me Not anymore Before that day we met I was afraid and felt so alone Nothing ever made much sense to me about You especially regarding religion You were hanging on a wooden cross and depicted on stained glass windows but to me you weren't there Ok let me pray all these repetitive prayers and the many words but nope You still weren't there Ok now I'll confess my prayers to that man who says he knows you but nope you're still not there either So Days weeks months and years have passed by...I still haven't found You I'm still now very troubled I'm still very afraid and I feel so alone despite being surrounded by people Ok sure I'm not an orphan and haven't been abandoned and there are people trying to take care of me but it's still not enough Everything is so uncertain especially my future and my present is hopeless Because as the years keep going by I'm becoming more desperate I'm on a slippery road with no brakes toward a head on collision I'm dangling over hell and no where near heaven I'm afraid and don't want to live anymore but don't want to die without You Oh yeah I fake how happy I might seem but deep down inside in the very depth of my soul I'm a dead man walking Then one night the same day I turned 19 I have this vivid dream I'm going through a black hole an abyss crying in desperation "HOW do I find you God" So to my surprise very joyous surprise you show up literally 19 days later after turning 19 and my life has never been the same again Not anymore feeling afraid or alone Forever forgiven forever changed forever going into eternity with You
