So cool how throughout the track it feels like the kraken/davy jones heartbeat gets faster as the chase commences and only slows down once the ship is destroyed.

The best music by Hans Zimmer yet, The Kraken, played on the best movie in the series of Pirates of the Caribbean. Awesome.

I played this song at a local swimming place and about kids ran out. I also had one of those rc shark dorsal fins.

Hans is truly a genius with melody and tunes!!

Epicness at its fullness....i mean...it doesnt get much better than a huge octopus beasty attacking a great bloody ship and sinking it with great music in the background!

This song is so much fun to play on the piano during October and especially on Halloween when kids come trick or treating

Very powerful song! I get to play the epic baseline at the start in my high school band.

I remember reading Zimmer saying that what sounds like the guitar in the soundtrack, is actually the orchestra plugged and distorted.

I may do a metal version of this with my band, but we won't deviate much from the original piece. We'll keep the organ, I'll be playing bass guitar in place of the double bass and some of the violins and (cello?). And there is something in this song that sounds a lot like an electric guitar, I'm not sure what it is though.
