Just picked up an NP2 today. Only had chance to empty a couple of magazines but so far, out of the box I'm hitting a target about the size of a 50p straight out of the box, stood up, can't argue with that before any time spent to zero the scope
Have got one of these (NP-02) and for the money it’s great value . I also have an impact so can see both ends of the current air rifle market. I’ve put an MTC connect on mine and removed the rear cover and replaced it with a Gunpower skeleton bottle stock which reduces the pull slightly. It produces more than acceptable groups at 50m with JSB Exact diablos . Happy with the review - but I think you’d have more info/ better opinion if you had shot them first 👍🏻.
Lloyd sold me one a few days ago and after looking at some video reviews on the gun I began to wonder just how accurate it was going to be.......I sighted it in with a moderately priced scope and then fired three 12 shot groups at 20 meters using my cars bonnet as a rest, nothing fancy...........the three groups each measured about the size of a sixpence..........no flyers and certainly no loading problems........the gun is going to replace a very old and reliable BSA for Vermin Control and I have no worries that it might not be up to the job........maybe a bit heavy ........it seems to be just about perfect and the LEFT hand cocking is great.........for a working gun .......unbeatable at the price...........when I have fired a couple of thousand shots I will update on the situation......that should be late January -21.......so far it seems very impressive though😊
Forget the Kral NP 02 and the Stoeger XP4. This was another GREAT and entertaining Hot Air video. Please, Please produce these programmes more regularly. The entertainment value is beyond measure!
Hi Guys another cracking show, informative with great humour, long may they continue. I have just got one of the NP-02 and shooting from the bench the length of pull doesn't seem to be an issue ragged hole 12 shot group at 20m. J3 and G8
J5 / L7 for me gents, another very interesting / cool / honest video. Very glad you're speeding up the uploads (well done Andrea), that reminds me to send you my pics tomorrow to accompany our filming last Monday, (thank-you all again). Cheers. Russ
I don't know why, but I've always found that I need a longer pull-length on rifles with drop-down pistol grips than conventional stocks. And the left hand cocking lever may be a good thing too, easier to get a second shot off without the trigger hand moving position.
Shot a mates brand new one from the shop today 5p size group at 40 yards on my first (and only) 10 shots, trigger a tadge heavy and needs adjustment, but very impressed, great review BTW
Would a cleaning pellet in one barrel enable you to chrono it accurately (at a distance the cleaning pellet wouldn’t reach). I suggest this not knowing anything about chrono’s or cleaning pellet distances.
Another great show with honest reviews, please don’t lose that honestly. Message for Lloyd, is it time to lose the hat?? I think Tony is out shining you in the dress stakes. Woolly hats in the summer don’t really work. Come on my friend give it a go without, you can do it, you can do it!!
I have to say.....Tony does look like the 'professional' ....with Lloyd looking like a very eager and I must say......knowledgeable 'apprentice'...........they make a good and contrasting duo.........well worth watching
Ascetics may be an issue, of course, however functionally it seems so obvious to put that giant bottle at the rear instead of hanging off the front. What are the downsides? Does the throw off the balance given the bottles are probably lighter than an equivalent sized piece of wood? I read that on the Airforce guns which use a similar bottle at the rear design, you have problems getting a good check weld. On the Np-02, the front cylinder just seems like left-over from another gun design.
If the length from the butt to the the pistol grip is the only thing you can find fault with , then I think Kral have made a nice rifle and found a place in the market for it. I’ve just bought one for my 14 year old Son and he has no problem handling it, perhaps the snobs who think you need to £2000 on a rifle to look good down the range and still couldn’t hit a pigs arse with a banjo need to take a look at themselves. It doesn’t claim to be an FX or Daystate , it’s £350
I forget how short the barrel on this thing is without the suppressor, my dad got it second hand with a 3-10x scope, suppressor, flashlight and folding bipod for about £350, which is a good price for the gun on its own without the extra stuff
@@hotair4269 do you remember the old enfields in the 80s/90s that were converted to shoot pellets from a pre charged cartridge (brocock i think) what happened with them someone told me they got banned
@@blackpoolairrifles9311 oh right i thought it was maybe because those cartridges looked quite realistic they were banned with a new law on replica guns
Try shooting it into a thick book compared to another gun of the same caliber that you know is shooting at 11 ft lbs and see how many pages in penetrates we used old copies of the yellow pages before chronographs were freely available.
Bought a np-02 a few days ago and it fits back in the case with a 3-9x50 scope, an Atec wave moderator, and still plenty of room to spare for accessories. Edit: I didn't get the glossy instructions manual I got a black and white photocopy in an envelope.
Curious to know how the NP-02 performs from a non southpaw? For the money it looks an interesting rifle but I guess it needs to be shouldered to make sure LOP is right but that left hand cocking lever is my main concern for staying on target and reloading. Good video though really enjoy them and competition guess is P19 & P20
Good morning from the State's and good show again the Kral in the State's has a 50/50 reliability , air leak's cocking lever breaking and many other problems. I do like the way they look but reliability is what keeps me away . Thank's
Seems we are a little luckier in the UK . The older Krals have been poor but the latest stuff is getting better , and I do know our Uk importer checks the guns now , although they need to make sure everything works including the magazines !
John Gratton A chrony measures muzzle energy by measuring the velocity of a weight, I was talking about an “impact force” measuring device, a kind of pressure sensitive pad you might say, something that could take an impact reading from both barrels independently at the same time, thus working out the actual power output of each barrel & the pair combined. I’m sorry If i miss worded my query & sent you off track as to what I meant.
Yes, it’s called a ballistic pendulum, it was what was used before the electronic chronograph was invented. And no we don’t have one or any idea of anyone who might, but I suspect it probably wouldn’t work on such low energies anyway.
TONY BELAS thanks for the reply to what I thought was a valid question, with an educated response. I also think you guys should make more videos, I check everyday to get my air gun fix. P.s. are Stearling in some sort of trouble? Or just stuck up? I Emailed them to try to get info on there H18, because I want one (in December) & no one will tell me how to get one of the most beautiful rifles I have ever seen? Thank you again for the contact Tony All the best Adz.
@Chris Landry let me explain again and i will use smaller words my original question was not in fact a question , it was sarcasm , i know full well how you chrony a shotgun since i have been a gunsmith since i qualified as one in the REME over 31 years ago and have worked as one since. there now do you get it ?
3 and 1 at 20 past on the clock, love the pcp love the price just wish i had the cash...i hope it cant be fired with the bottle off ..the last rifle looks a bit of fun but i use enough pellets without doing 2 at once :)
Only came up with this: www.riflezone.com/beeman-rs1-dual-caliber-air-rifle-review/ www.amazon.com/Beeman-Dual-Caliber-Rifle-Combo-rifle/dp/B0010DV5Q4/ref=as_at?creativeASIN=B0010DV5Q4&linkCode=w61&imprToken=6PuVmjS9MZAO0tS5U2YQsw&slotNum=1&tag=a-r-20 What the the full name of this gun (14:10)?
Guys i bought the kral NP02 after watching your video. And what a cracking little rifle, pellet on pellet accurate. Its bloody amazing. Now im kral fan and im thinking of buying an other kral. So im in love with kral puncher pro but been told jumbo might be better. Any chance you guys can do review on kral pro and kral jumbo. Really hoping you say pro is amazing as lovely in shoulder. Really interested what like at on 40 metres plus to . Thank You Andy from ellesmere port
Hi Andy. Glad you like the Np-02. We will be looking at more Krals but with new stuff we are going to wait till we get the range in October, then we can test them properly . The Puncher has been excellent , the Jumbo is also a great value gun with excellent performance and plenty of shots :)
Ooh cheers Tony, can’t wait 😀 you two guys are brill together, love all these videos! Reason I ask is because I’m trying to decide between an AirArms 410 TDR and the new 510 TDR.. then remembered the Leishy lol
We have had a look at it for the next episode , but we really really want to get out in the field with it and test it properly . That will come soon but for now you will just have to put up with us fondling it :)
You know something ? That rifle brings back memories of years past , too many years , memories that have haunted me for the best part of 44 years , why I hear you ask , well it was girl I once knew , she was drop dead gorgeous ( ok we were both around 14 yrs old ) I longed too ask her out , take her too the flicks ( picture house too you young kids ) buy her fish and chips , walk hand in hand along the canal towpath , kiss her gently good night as id see her too her door in safety , but NO it didn't happen , my dreams were shattered by fear of what my so called " mates " would say , you see , this diamond of a lass had a plastic leg , cut off just below the knee , don't know why or whatever the reason for this but too me it didn't matter , it's just what my mates would say that put off asking her out ... I was a fool .. it wouldn't happen now for sure , that episode in my life made me the man I am now ... Anyway this gun and it's " qwerkie " bottle for a stock reminds me of this girl and her plastic leg .. if I didn't have ( and just bought the new brocock bantam sniper hr ) so may rifles , I'd buy this ... No questions asked ... It would remind me of her , and vanquish a ghost that as haunted me for years ... Anyway can I have 2 goes at the quiz?
You could but it is a single piston venting into two barrels so if you only loaded one the one barrel, the other would allow too much air out effecting the power
A guy had one at side of me at the range and it was unbearably loud. I had to move to the other end and it was still off putting. Really you need ear plugs to shoot near them.
