My mum who was born in 1942 says she remembers being at the dance halls when the Kray twins would come in, they were like celebrities. You didn't approach them, you just stayed out of their way.

I was living in Walthamstow when reg died and watching his procession past was like nothing I've seen before. I've had a slight obsession evil since of their story. LEGEND is fantastic

It didn't do Britain any favours when celebrities like Barbara Windsor would hang out with the Krays and tell people "they are alright, everyone in the east-end loved them", this silly woman did more than most to glamorise these two thugs.

Tom Hardy played both the Kray twins and Charles Bronson. In fact, while Bronson was in a mental asylum, he met the twins and described them as “the nicest guys he ever met”.

Smith wasn't murdered he fled to Australia ,then came back to England he died in Luton in 2004

Doing life at 35 years of age and NEVER EVER GETTING OUT … I know reggie did when he was Phuket but …. Is an absolute waste of a life … it is absolutely unbelievable. 35 is incredibly young . Behind bars for the rest of your life mixing with fellow criminals is drastic . I would rather do a shitty job in a factory .. paid a shit wage , look after my family as best I can and bring my kids up to the best of my ability . That’s the true meaning of being a male .

I have not read all the comments. At about 10:00 minutes into the video, there is a photograph of three persons with one of the Kray twins in the center. I notice in this image the woman to the right. She appears to be Christine Keeler, who, during the early 1960s, was involved in a relationship with John Profumo. At the time, John Profumo was married to Valerie Hobson, a British film star from the 1930s through the 1950s. Profumo was also Secretary of State for War, and the resultant scandal, thought to involve national security, was extensively covered by the press and forced Profumo's resignation.

Such was my adventurous life I met Reggie Kray in Soho & spent a very nice evening with Frankie Frazer boozing in the King's Arms, Fulham Road, 1962 & 1969.

I’ve read Reggie repented in prison and became a very religious man. Maybe he saw finally he had lived a bad life. They may have been criminals but they still have a myth around them that’s interesting.

Good film for anyone who knows little about the Krays and is wanting to learn about them but it didn't tell me anything different from what I already know.

This video was so informative. The fact that they admitted the Kray's would've been killed had they not gone to prison when they did cause they were so out of control. They made a good movie about them "legend" but at the end of the day they were just two mentally unstable serial killers in the mob who were out of control and people still idolize them and glorify them it's pretty sad. People feared them more than they respected them back then but this goes to show you that nobody's untouchable because had they not been arrested for murder they would've been taken out themselves.

My Father in-law and family grew up with the Krays ..They told us a few stories.. Reggie sang Maggie underneath aunt Margarets window..My mother in law had the twin Pram from Mrs Kray.. While at school Ronnie was kicked out of a Saturday matinee,he returned and assaulted the cinema manager with a bike chain .Other tales while growing up

People bought into their legend, especially as glamourised by the film. They were special because they were twin thugs which was more fascinating to outside world.

Let's remember they did bad things however they were right about Jim fix it back in the late 70ss and 80s how it was how he was alood to have the run off the place

I never understood why Ronnie Kray was so upset at being called a fat poof by George Cornell. I mean, it's not like he was getting slandered. And of course, Ronnie sorted it out the only way he could - with a gun. Having already received a pasting from him, he knew he wouldn't be capable of teaching Cornell a lesson with his hands. Anyone who reveres the Kray twins are probably in need of psychotherapy themselves.

My dad used to be incharge of the kitchen's etc at Blunderson prison for 36 years, I can't remember which one it was Reggie or Ronnie kray who was in the prison at that time, I'd always loved reading about criminal gangs and murders, I had a really heavy book on crime, it had the Kray story in the book...so I asked my dad if he would take the book in to work and get Ronnie or Reggie to sign my crime book.. I was gutted because he said NO....he said he's just a cleaner... his past has been over for a long time, my dad never spoke about him or anyone of the inmates...my dad has still got a painting done by I think it was the last person in England to be done for piracy...it is painted in purple and he used match sticks as paint brushes... it is just land Scape, I don't know if it was a personal place like home or just from his own home or what.... unfortunately Blunderson prison got knocked down a few years ago.... happy days living in quarters, or the estate was called the patch... going in the club house and getting a packet of crisps and a cresta drink of the ungodly amount for just 10p... money went a lot further then, unlike today.... good fun memories 😁😁😁💯🍒

all these kind of people are all highly traumatized other wise they wouldnt have the impulses to behavior in the ways they do in the first place their behavior raised from a place of fear which is followed through with a false sense of entitlement its all rooted in trauma their all highly traumatized and thus their behavior has noting to do with whats someone eles has said or done thats the illusion people buy in too whats going on with these kinds of people is their unhealed trauma is playing out on repeat and its been mirrored reflectived back to them via someone else which in turn results in them becoming triggered their find insult where their isnt one to begain with they fail to understand their triggers has noting to do with anyone other than themselves they have a war going on within themselves and untill people like this end the war within themselves their allways be a battle going on outside of them geting angery and blaming someone else for what righly to do with them noting exist outside of us it only ever reflective back to us whats gone unchecked within us that needs much needed attention and healing whats going on is their projecting their pain that a response to trauma out on to someone else like the saying go those in pain inflict pain their all living their lifes in a ego consumed state of victimhood instead of learning from their experences in life and growing from it and taking the opportunity to learn from their triggers their playing victim to it their in a infantile state consumed by ego they're purely operating from the limbic system not the frontal lobe and thus they cant rationalize their thoughts and feelings becuase emotions running high whiles logic running low when you can see the bigger picture of whats really going on with these kind of people and watch the way these people behavior you realize how unnecessary and pointless their behavior is and their all ways have a whoel host of unjustified excuses for their actions the reality is no one make you feel noting their are no justified beatings or killings it's all 3d primitive self defeating pointless behavior that serve no human being their heart and soul has been sucked in by darkness and their working for darkness and their feeding off them like a battery and doing their dirty work for them and dont know it they have lost their connection to soul coniuesnsesss.
