Siege tower's arrows do 3p dmg's. Displayed crush damage is for melee attack only. So in total siege tower does 3dmg/s to titan or 1dmg/s/pop. Fully upgraded priest (without funeral rites) does 2.16dmg/s (4.8*9*0.05) or 1.08dmg/s/pop. So priests (fully upgraded ones) are marginally more pop efficent against titan. They are also more resource efficent, faster and more useful against other units.
This is all so much easier with Automatons and building Destroyers and not Fire Siphons. Automatons have incredible effective pierce HP, can't be countered by Mummies, and are so population and cost effective they function as anti-myth, anti-archer and an incredibly strong "infantry" unit all game but have no weakness to Axemen. Boit said Kronos Automatons now have 5.0 speed which is just insane. Destroyers deflate the Ra laborer anti-siege shenanigans and also soak pierce damage and push eggy back to making Axemen, which now isn't good against anything else and dies horribly to Arcus, as do priests, and eggy doesn't like to face mass archer. Siphons just cost too much pop and being countered not just by laborers but if you watch closely the 3 pop siege towers too is part why Ulysses got to hold on for so long.
-10% from 6.05 +20% is well over 6.05? +20% -10% is also much higher than 6.05. What are we talking about here? I know percentages can work in strange ways when we approach 100 and such for armor values but this isn't that. Do you mean to say the way the promethean offspring's speed is effected differently than the promethean itself? This is driving me nuts.
