NCT has done it once again 😩 They perfectly combined the feeling of a 2000's ballad while maintaining the signature NCT sound. Literally amazing

the whistle melody is so nostalgic sounding, as soon as i heard it in the teaser i knew they'd go for a more contemporary sounding chorus

"Make A Wish seduced me in a sinful way, Favorite is a little bit more romantic" CAN IT BE MORE ACCURATE? But this song is sooooo beautiful and amazing. And yes the dance break threw everyone off idk why SM put that in the MV but i still watch the MV regularly but listen to the song religiously.

the thing i love so much about NCT 127 (NCT in general tbh) is that their title tracks are different from one another that you can't really compare them with each other. Sticker is pretty much in my top 5 favorite KPOP songs this year and i was kind of nervous how Favorite will deliver but they did it again !! they really never fail to impress me omg 😭

FYI: The concept and the storyline were revealed during the pre-promotion via their Instagram. They released sets of short video clips, photos, and a short fiction novel to announce their concept. It was about a vampire who keeps dreaming to meet his lover who died in the past. He keeps trying to change things to keep her alive, but it's a dream -- he always wakes up. So fans knew that they were going to be vampires who lost their loved ones and are living in regrets and pain. 127 members have been openly showing their confidence with the song too!

They ate this song up like it was a buffet. They did a phenomenal job with this. It was captivating and sultry. You get drawn into the heartache they convey. And you get emotional when they sing the lyrics in this. The climax was just so beautiful. Now I'm wondering if with their story were they vampires the whole time and then reveal their 'true self' in Favorite. Cause before from their origin I thought they were clones, machines or robots (something along that line) but, looking at all the lyrics from their past videos now I'm not so sure they were clones or machines, they always talked about darkness, shadows, daylight, moonlight, speed, thirst, trauma, no limit, revealing their 'True Self' in their lyrics and all their songs to now fit vampires, they always had a mystery and mysterious vibe. Idk I'm just thinking out loud. Don't mind me. I may not make sense, lol

It’s the joint chorus that really hits me. The melody is so filled with emotion and impact and when the drums come in the second half it almost makes me cry.

Favorite gives me literal CHILLS! I am absolute Sticker trash and Sticker is my standard and I wasn't sure if 127 could beat themselves with this repack title track but they proved me wrong. This song is so good and ties in perfectly with the rest of the songs on the album and is giving us some things that we were missing in 4th gen kpop. Great video PD and I'm awaiting your Kingdom Karma and Black Crown reaction! 🙏

Because to be honest, whenever NCT gives us music, everything is different- like a new dish. They do not settle for the same beat or rhythm. They provide us new and experimental music that will reset the culture. Also, PD, thank you for always hyping the boys, especially Jungwoo!

As part of their teaser schedule, they released a "Story of Favorite" where they told part of a story about a face changing vampire (face changing meaning each member took turns being the main character/narrator) who falls desperately in love but ultimately loses their beloved so we were all led to believe that they were the vampire. But as the mv shows, it's the opposite with them being the ones already/pleading to be turned. I haven't stopped listening to this song since it was released yesterday and it STILL gives me goosebumps. It's that good. And no, thankfully the dubstep dance break isn't a part of the actual track. Favorite was composed by the great Kenzie and it's another brilliant hit that you must listen to at max volume to feel all the feels 🙌 I also recommend "Love on the Floor"!! It's a damn bop.

I'm not joking when I say that when the chorus first hit I almost cried. The 2nd gen vibes I got from it where so overwhelming!

This song's music producer is a genius. I feel like we've heard a lot of trendy/hollywood-style music from basically all the k-pop groups this year. Adding early 2000 vibes to the chorus gives us a beautiful, nostalgic feeling!

I ascended with that chorus, I believe this could have been an EXO song, it definitely gave what it needed to give

I love this chorus sooooo much!!! It sounds like a very beautiful but tragic romance kdrama, which touched my heart so much and I just cant stop listening to it again and again. My all-time favorite NCT127 title track is 'Superhuman' as well. 'Favorite' hit me as hard as 'Superhuman' but in a totally different way. Now these two are both my fav NCT127 title tracks! Btw I looooove this vampire theme and Jaehyun just looks like a vampire prince!

One of their best comebacks I mean tbh NCT never disappoints in my opinion and I've always loved how they aren't afraid to be experimental, but Favorite is seriously such a damn masterpiece and has a nostalgia feel to it and I adore the concept and the choreo is absolutely fire like starting of with the hip thrusts sooo dangerous but even like the main choreo is sooo pleasing to the eye and different from anything I've seen before, I seriously never get tired of these boys.

In summary, the "Story of Favorite" (the videos on Instagram) is actually very tragic. It talks about the main vampire (Jaehyun) who changes his appearances (the other members) when going on dates with the person they like. The person doesnt know they are a vampire until the vampire (Mark) tells them and they accept their identity. After going on more dates, the vampire (Jungwoo) asks them to stay with him forever and gives them a necklace -supposedly making them immortal just like the vampire. However, they end up rejecting the vampire (Taeil) by the smybolism of a blue rose (meaning impossible). It turns out that all the times NCT 127 (besides Jaehyun) goes on dates is all a dream. In reality, it was never like that even though Jaehyun desperately wanted to be with the person he loves. Roses are a HUGE thing in the MV and story. It's why roses are in the dance break and when Haechan deteriorates. Each NCT 127 member has a rose tattoo on their wrist when they go on their dates. In many of those dates, the vampire gives the person a rose: red (passion and love), yellow (friendship and joy), and white (unrequited love). The person ends up giving them a blue rose at the end though 🥲

This song reminds me of their past song Limitless so much. I love that song, it's the only nct song beside make your wish thats stayed in my playlist for so long.

NCT 127 always comes with the best pre-chorus and chorus part. And the dance break is so cool, so surprising the bridge harmonization come is so good. FAVORITE IS ANOTHER MASTERPIECE OF NCT 127 SONG!!

Sticker grew on me and I enjoy listening to it quite often. Favorite I loved it instantly, the way it goes higher and higher, the choreo, the visual… blew it out of the park. I thought they’ve just had a comeback, my expectations were lower, but absolutely loved it. Mesmerising indeed

favorite has a very different vibe to sticker, but it's SO GOOD. i think overall i still prefer sticker bc of the attitude, but these two title tracks are both masterpieces

The first 7 seconds of the "whistle" melody sounds familiar/nostalgic (NSync's It's Gonna Be Me chorus) and I really like sad romantic songs with dance track. This is my instant favorite NCT127 title track because of the melody, chorus and lyrics plus the "whistle" part really makes it memorable.

I’ve said this in your community post, but I knew you would love it! As my soul was ascending to the heavens listening to the chorus, the first reactor who came to my mind was you. You always mention about how you grew up with the early gen kpop, and this song sounds like a 2nd gen tragic love story song with a little bit of neo drama sprinkled here and there. Sticker is still more of my style because I love weird, but this one? Holy crap, it messes me up in a different (good) way.

Loved Favorite the first listen. I loved Sticker too but it grew on me steadily! Favorite brought back soooooo much nostalgia for me, really reminded me of kpop back in 2nd gen 😭 The visuals were insane too!!
