Mark was the one who wrote the lyrics/part: I heard when you cry, it rains in heaven. In my understanding, it could mean that heaven cries with you/the good cry with you (have empathy for you)/there is someone who you can lean on and cry with you when you're down or troubled. This is my take on the lyrics, tho I can't say too much on the smoothness of how it sounds but poetically speaking... it hits the feels.

DREAM()SCAPE IS THAT ALBUM, all the b sides are amazing, "rains in heaven" really has that healing effect when you listen to it, mark did a really good job with the lyrics and the vocals were beautiful (the fact that everyone can sing is crazy) WE ARE ALL THE SAME BUT HURT DIFFERENT I HEARD WHEN YOU CRIED IT RAINS IN HEAVEN 💙;)

You'll enjoy the behind-the-scenes video. If I understood correctly, it's an end of world setting, where one of the members is AI and another is alien. Hence, they hurt differently. As for my thoughts, it's my favourite song from them. Reminds me of 1980's R and B, such as Boys II Men and others.

funniest part is they edited the hell out of all the natural lighing because it was VEEEERY bright where they were shooting. idk if they had overlay physically on the camera or if it was done in editing or both but they muted [and darkened] the hell out so many of the colors

He filmed in a forest in Korea, so he had no part filmed with other members, except the choreography part, and he is so pure and brave to join this promotion, I know he's not well mentally, but 7dream is better than 6dream. I am not a music expert, but can you explain why the drop of minor bass on the background music, feels so nostalgic? Have you ever compared it to what they did in Broken Melodies bridge part too? When chenle's part started, the notes of the minor bass starts to drop and it gave me the same feeling I had with Rains in Heaven! Hope your read this comment and make an analysis in the future! haechan's vocals are insanely strong, his vocal technique actually is! his vocals are the strongest in nct dream by far, especially his chest voice and mixed voice which he engages in his mid register to hit those crazy belts and high notes; it's SUPER strong, loud, resonant, piercing and almost "metallic" like a bell because of how HIGH he can go, while his voice remains "full" and super loud and strong! he also goes very hard during live vocals and belts high notes with the same amount of force he uses while recording them in a studio

that's what i also think. i don't think dream follow what is popular these days when it comes to music. they make music based on their name, they do what they want and that is more important. and it makes me love them more especially with this release. 💚 thank you for this reaction. 🙂 ps. they said that the story of this mv is like the world is like ending and like they're the only people left and you can see jeno and jaemin are like fighting but they're actually not fighting it was like jeno is in verge of giving up and there's jaemin telling him that he still have him/them.
