He's promoting both at the same time, but SM isn't actually giving him any real promotions for Criminal. He only went to a radio this week and that's it. SM is being the worst. He has expressed multiple times how he wants to get more promotion, or any at this point. Anyway, Criminal is a MASTERPIECE.

PD it really saddens me how bad his promotion is. He's practically begging the fans to watch his MV and asking what he can do to increase the views... I'm actually physically struggling with how GOOD this song is. The 5 million views this MV got are not shabby, but I absolutely don't understand how it is not attracting infinitely more attention. He's technically dual-promoting but honestly only his friends are inviting him to their works to promote Criminal, SM's not doing anything for it and somehow he ended up starting stages a week after release, when Namjoo and YooA who released their solos on the same day are doing stages this week? How SM is treating the comeback that he was waiting to give literally since he released Want is really disappointing, but Taemin himself sure isn't. This is one of my favorite Taemin tracks, I think the album may even top Press It for me which is hard. The thing about this song is that once I heard it, it wouldn't leave my head. I was streaming it quite seriously since Taemin asked, and when I was playing MVs in-between I just wanted to come back to Criminal. It's just...Amazing. That's all there is to it. The final run of the chorus? Yeah. Perfection.

I'm not a huge K-pop fan and I never normally fangirl over male idols but Criminal is such a brilliant song, easily on my top 10 list, and I actually downloaded Mubeat in order to vote for Taemin because I can see how much he worked hard for the song, MV and album overall. I don't know what's wrong with me to get so obsessed over his win but he deserves it and I will do everything in my power to make it happen! Taemin fighting!

I am glad that I am not the only one who was reminded of Gravity!!(it is my favourite EXO song as well) What I especially loved was the "singing louder/almost shouting" in the last chorus. It sounded almost desperate and I found that added so much

Taemin is a king when it comes to drowning and sensually touching songs. Whenever I hear a song from him it always makes me feel something I can't explain. The high notes at the end are giving me the rest. The dance is so amazing. you know, i love when people appreciate and acknowledge taemin's talent and hard work. when he debuted, so many people criticized him and said he wasn't a good singer, etc. but this man...he worked his ass off, improved at singing and dancing, and released multiple albums in korean and japanese. he started his own movement and for that reason, Move is incredibly iconic. Taemin, after over 10 years, still keeps improving and becoming the best. there's no one doing it like him. Also, he has a shit ton of work i really can't imagine how he manages to deal with everything and still do his best and show it. king of kpop indeed.

As you said, Move was more iconic because it pushed so many envelopes. Criminal doesn't do exactly that, but i takes what it is and makes it into unrivaled perfection. I loved this comeback so much, Taemin really outdid himself, the song, the vocals and the choreo are all god-tier!! I love the adlips in the last chorus so much I really can't stop listening to it If you wanna see the choreography in its whole glory the dance practice came out yesterday with fixed cam (preach) I really hope you'll do a listening party for this album, the songs are amazing, I especially love "Waiting for" and "Clockwork" Also this is only Act1 of Never Gonna Dance Again, and Taemin said Act2 will come out in November, I can't wait !!

danger was my favourite before criminal came out. both have such strong influence from MJ, so they really speak to me. i keep getting blown away by taemin because he keeps on improving. his vocal skills in this song is testament to his growth as an artist

I'm so obsessed with this song I would go so far to say it's my favorite kpop song of the year and I'm an EXO-L which means I'm choosing it over Baekhyun, SuperM and EXO-SC's comebacks. good news about the one-take choreo: there's a dance practice! thank you for the reaction, i loved it :). For me, this is my favourite Taemin comeback. He's taken everything he's done so far as an artist and put it all together then built on it. With that, i would describe this MV as maximalist. Although it's not sexy like move or want, there is a magnetism in this MV that i cant look away from, which really reflects the lyrics. I really appreciate how he isn't afraid to take risks and to do something different. Each time Taemin has a comeback i wonder what he's going to do next and how he's going to top himself, but i'm never prepared for it. He always blows me away, and i'm so excited for Act 2!!

I think Taemin is the complete Artist. I looove "Move" and its an iconic song as you say. This though is a different vibe. Its so smooth and builds up in a way you don't notice until the last chorus where you get the high notes. I can't think of any other artist who has a sound like him, and he really hits different. I hope this song gets alot of recognition and love from his fans, cause its bomb!
