that grave is actually GIRI's (their former alpha ), GIRI was real brother of nicholas, ej and taki and helped K to find his identity.. so basically all 4 of them were close to him and is more sad compared to others.. the rest of the members joined pack late and were not that close to GIRI.. that's why nicholas and ej is frustrated cuz no one among them cares about their emotions and are happy.. NICHOLAS and EJ also find the other members reason of GIRI's death cuz FUMA, HARUA, JO were brain washed by vampires and attacked them several times also MAKI and YUMA (the twins) also were in bad terms with GIRI's ack before joining.. and that's why all of them are misunderstanding each other. and this is how the current alpha KHAN gets his first duty as ALPHA.. to bring the members close and made them trust each other

‘Samidare’ refers to the early summer rainy season in Japan, when the rain is on and off, like it it’ll never stop. For that reason, ‘samidare-shiki’ is used in business settings to describe emails that never seem to end😂 ‘Samidare’ comes well after the short-lived cherry blossom season in spring season. In a way, the person they lost too soon is aptly symbolized by the transient, emphemeral nature of cherry blossoms. And now they’re in the gloomy rainy season, but as Fuma sings in Maybe, the seasons come and go. Life continues on. They’ll weather the rain and be together as one enjoying the cherry blossoms again next year🌸

i think samidare has to do with grieving and not recognizing others pain and trying to fix a bond that was recently broken bc of a death in the family. four of the members are the 'original members' because they were on the show i-land (which formed the group enhypen) and were pre-picked for the group when their own audition show came out. then the other five were chosen to be in the group during &audition (Where they were formed). so their group concept is werewolves, in the beginning of the mv they were laying on a grave which is for giri who was their pack alpha who died by a vampire and now K (the one who can be seen walking behind everyone in the group) is the leader/trying to learn how to be the leader (But only in their concept, for the actual group ej is the leader) the og four were around giri for a long time and the new members not as much or at all, so while the og members are grieving their alpha, the new members are not as affected by his death. not saying they don't care bc there are scenes in the mv where they are staring at the others with sympathy but the og members don't really see that bc their own pain. this is supposed to follow their webtoon but i've been told not every thing matches up. in the webtoon nico and taki are brothers so i think nico is seeing how affected taki is and wants to help him so when taki is pushed over and his stuff falls out of his bag nico (who's character is known to have anger issues) punches fuma bc he thinks he is protecting his younger brother. sorry this is so long but i wanted to give my perspective and try to explain just a little bit.

As always with &TEAM it's a full perfect package. Song, music and lyrics, dance, MV, aesthetic and acting, everything is perfect. The pack is strong.

Thanks for another great &TEAM video reaction 🙂The MV is tied to their Webtoon... There are actually some callbacks to Under the Skin: the gym/basketball court, the lockers, old photographs. Giri is their former leader (from their debut MV). This is basically a continuation of that, showing them grieving. In the storyline, they come from different packs and it was Giri who brought them together. Now that he’s gone, there’s a lot of in-fighting. Taki longs for them to be happy together as he looks at their old photo. Fuma accidentally bumps into Taki causing him to scatter his things including the photo (precious memory). Nicholas, who is Taki’s brother in this story becomes agitated and punches Fuma. Meanwhile, K struggles in taking the mantle as the new leader. In the end, the sakura petals (symbolizing Giri) falls upon them, giving them hope and a sign to move on. It’s a typical struggle of a found-family.

By the way, the shrub with light purple flowers growing on the grave of Giri, the leader of the werewolves in the first part of the music video is lilac. In Japan, the flower language (flower meanings) of lilacs is 'friendship' and 'memory'. Therefore, I believe that the lilac flowers on the grave are a symbol of the bond between Gili and the younger werewolves.

giri is the guy who was at the beginning of the under the skin mv - k, taki, euijoo and nico were all closer to him so the conflict is primarily stemming from the remaining 5 not being impacted by his death like the original 4, plus tensions regarding the circumstances of his death I think

I have been waiting for your reaction! Thank you for giving &Team love!! For those who haven’t read the Dark Moon comic: This is a story about three different packs struggling to become one pack. The packs don’t really like each other but they all agree that they want K to be their leader. After the battle against the vampires and Giri’s death, K is without guidance because the one person (Giri) he looked up to is now gone. So now, he’s finding challenges with becoming a pack leader. EDIT: K’s character also blames himself for Giri’s death and feels unworthy of that title. EDIT: A primary reason for contention between Nico’s group and Fuma’s group is that Nico’s group somewhat blames Fuma’s group for Giri’s death. During the battle with the vampires, Fuma, Jo, and Harua were under the Boss Vampire’s mind control ability. So, Fuma’s group fought for the vampires and were one of the lines of defense. (Big thanks to @JD-qg5di for reminding me about this important piece of lore.) EDIT: Further information- 1) K’s character was a “lone wolf”; 2) Giri, Nico, Euijoo, Taki were one pack; 3) Maki and Yuma’s characters are twins and also their own pack; 4) Fuma, Jo, and Harua formed their own pack after escaping the vampires. 5) It is likely that Taki’s character wishes for all of them to be united and to become a family but the constant fighting makes that wish seem unattainable, and it makes him sad.

Scratch that, they all needed to beat each other up because everyone is piling up their resentment tirelessly. It's fine. Like a samidare, it will not last long. The cherry blossom 🌸 will dance with the raindrops, after which, there will clear skies and bright summer ahead. [Samidare - early summer rain, repeating downpour that usually does not last long.]

It feels so weird to listen to this song now after really focussing on the lyrics and the mv. This past monday I sadly got the news that one of my classmates past away. And after that all the songs I recently had listened to didn't feel right at the time, so I turned on Samidare. Without knowing the full meaning of the song I listened to it at the time and the song felt so right in that moment. And in the evening, without it being forecasted, it started raining a little bit when I had to bike home. It's so weird that Samidare is a song that suits this situation so much and that I put it on first without knowing about the meaning so much feels so weird to me

&TEAM does it again with the beautiful storytelling. literally insane shots, vocals, choreo, scenes, EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! btw i loved your take on nicholas in the mv because it's spot on. even his character in their webtoon + the actual happenings of the Debut 4 journey... nicholas getting pissed at someone for making taki, a member of his pack and one of his oldest ties within the group, sad, is absolutely believable. PLUS i appreciate the use of the samidare metaphors and the sakura symbols to signify the passing of time. to me, the scene in the end where the rain shifts into petals is literally about them shifting perspectives on giri's passing and their relationship with one another. as another person already mentioned, samidare starts after the sakura blossomings, so in that moment, when the petals started falling, it was like traveling back in time to a moment where everything was simpler :(

Giri is played by Kentaro Sakaguchi , he was the guy who was dying in the begining and interlude of Under the Skin ... That mv depicted Giri passing on his role of pack leader to Khan(K) , although Khan deeply believed he wasnt ready for the role. This mv for K depicts him finally accepting the role as leader, and finally getting everyone together. As everyone mourns the joint loss, and the aftermath of the vampire attack.

I could be wrong but I believe the flowers are purple verbena, they mean 'I weep for you' which contextually makes a lot of sense here. It's an absolutely gorgeous little detail

🌸Here's the MV story ↓↓↓↓↓ In the end, under the attack of the evil vampire leader, Giri breathed his last breath before he even had time to see the children he brought up (the last thing he saw before passing away was to entrust the descendants of the werewolf tribe to K (this last words scene is the one at the beginning of Under the skin) May Rain's MV, the plot is this heartbroken scene after the death of Brother Giri, although it is painful but still tried hard to accept it for the sake of the unity of the werewolf tribe. They(FUMA, JO, HARUA) be brainwash to attact werewolf tribe that cause Giri hurt badly to die.(The brainwashing has been released at this time) But in fact, there are still a lot of knots between them. this is why in the first half of the MV, they seem to be in the same group, but they are at odds with each other overtly and covertly Quarrels There are many complex looks containing dissatisfaction.…etc In the second half of the MV, the youngest brother (TAKI)also the most beloved brother who lost his family since childhood.seemingly strong, but in fact, he has been secretly missing for Giri who is like a father figure to the three brothers(NICHOLAS ,EJ,TAKI)(the photo found in the cabinet should be a photo with Giri).
