The Kurzweil PC3X new decent demo! ~ CP80 ~ E-piano ~ DX Rhodes ~ FM Shimmer ~ Studio Strings 

With this I will begin a series of reviews of not so well known or underrated synthesizers, from which there are barely any good demo's available (at least not findable that quickly)
Here I will be focusing on the Kurzweil PC3X building on the legendary K-series of the nineties. In the first few minutes I give some background on the difference between the PC3 and 4 series and the earlier K2500/2600/2661 series with some different e-piano's on the background.
At around 11:00 we have a first gorgeous CP80 sound, from 14:21 a delicate e-piano sound, a TX tines sound, DX sounds, a distant FM sound and from 19:56 an almighty powerful strings sound, in which you can hear multiple violins, cellos, horns, tuba's, trumpets and more.
