I think you explained wrong...''it'' represents the mother goldfinch not the labarnum tree...because as engine is a source of energy for any machine likewise the mother bird is the source of energy for her family because she feeds them... And one thing more i want to say....In this poem so many general poetic devices(human personification, transferred epithet, symbolism and many more) are used but none of these are explained by you.. You only taught those figure of speeches which are rarely asked in exams... Even you didn't explain the central idea of this poem... So I request you not to upload the vedio untill you will prepare it well.. And try to explain more deeply because we come here with our hopes that we will get something useful

Tu apni biwi pe shak ku kar raha ha? Bharosa nahi ha kya tujhe apni biwi pe ? Yar shak karne wali bat hi ha , isliye shak kar raha hu , warna ku karta ma shak. Yar , mane use samjha diya ha ache se , ab wo nahi samjh raha ha to ma kya karu isme bata. Wo samjhna hi nahi chahta ha sala , marne de sale ko. Jab akal aayegi use tab samjh jayega khud pe khud. Yar itna kehne ke bawjud bhi tu agar nahi sudhra na beta to ho gaya fir , tu duniya ma rehna chod de, mat jee tu is duniya ma . Kitni bar samjha diya ha yar mane apko ki gali mat do mat do fir bhi aap gali de rahe ho roj, samjh ma nahi aata kya apke. Bhai, tune khali pet wali dawai kha li?
