This is my favorite of all the many novels I have listened to. I love how you make intimacy with and dependence on God a central theme in this story. It is beautifully told.

Loved this trilogy! They number them as 1- Mountain Fire 2 - Mountain Doctor 3 - Mountain Man However they make much more sense to read them chronologically as 1 - Man, 2- Doctor, then 3 - Fire. The narrator Woodworth is fabulous! Thanks for sharing them! Best wishes from northern Illinois.

I was searching for something else when I stumbled across this book and decided to give it a try just because. It was really good. Very well written and very well read. "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" truly fits here since I believe the book tells as much about the author as it does about its characters. You are truly a special person...
