My husband passed away 5 years ago from Cancer and last night I dreamed of him pretty much all night... he kept taking me back to a time when he and I were dancing together at a family member's wedding and we danced to this song... I was, in fact, wearing a red dress. He reminded me that as we danced to this song we stared lovingly into each other's eyes and I could see and feel just how much he truly loved me. I was a very blessed lady indeed to have such a loving and romantic husband as he was. I'm happy and grateful that on this Christmas eve he gave me a memory I thought was long lost among the countless memories we shared over our 38 years of marriage. No matter where he is now or how many years we are apart I am still his Lady in Red.

I was a teenager when this came out. It’s so romantic and dreamy and relaxing. Love it. There were other similar soft rock songs that came out such True by Spandau Ballet, private dancer by Tina Turner and Broken Wings.

I recently lost a dear friend of mine. the toll it takes on one's mind is immense. This song was the last we listened to together, I'll never forget them.
