A splendid episode, corr, some of those trails looked challenging, but they couldn't have been that difficult as Lavi hasn't said ' bloody hell ' for a while. Keep going.
Hey Lavi - Just wanted to say you have truly inspired me and given me confidence. Whilst in the Picos in Spain a rogue SatNav direction took us off road and on an off road section for a couple of miles. A bit like the down hill rocky section you encountered on this episode 😱 Never done this before and on a sports tourer. But just kept thinking of your courage and thought I could do this - and I did! Exhilarating! But was so relieved when I got back on tarmac. Thank you and you have conquered this off road malarkey 🫡👍👍🏍️
We have a place in British Columbia, Canada called Windermere. Windermere Lake was once known as Lower Columbia Lake, and will be seen as such on older maps of the area.[2] It was given its current name by G.M. Sproat in 1902 because it resembled Lake Windermere in the English Lake District.[3]: 297 I think Knox Armour is located in the Lakes District. I think their ads are shot in the area.
Please don't say so far so good Lavi, famous last words as you bite the dust😂It was good of the USAF putting a show in the F15's just for you😉Those wet rocks were insane, well done for getting through guys👍I think a canoe would have been more appropriate for the Lake District😂Awesome video guys👍I got soaked on my e bike today but I got nice rainbow photos😆
Moin moin 😉You're earning your webbed feet guys 😉. Tbh tho' I'm just waiting for 'one' of you to break a mirror on a fall, if you have folding mirrors then it's allways best to fold them in offroad. Folded in they will also block you from looking down at your front wheels (where you shouldn't be looking anyway) but looking ahead. Lavi it sounds like your concentrating on the larger rocks when you see them instead of the flatter/easier area beside/around them. All in all considering the tyres you have and low bikes you're riding you're doing ok💪. Ride safe guys 🤗
Lavi you go girl you’ll be crossing India no problem 💪👍 I do wish Ollie had given you a decent rear tyre though he’s made it harder for you maybe swap rear wheels next time 😉
Both you and the Van Vans have coped admirably with this adventure. Looking back, and with your knowledge of the terrain, if you could go back in time, would you still have chosen the Suzukis, or is there now another bike you feel would have been better suited?
Ofcourse you will do it again Lavi. The German TET waits for you. BTW. Greetings to the US Boys and Girls of RAF Lakenheath to give Lavi and Ollie the Air Show with the trusty F-15
Liking your videos and props to you taking those bikes and showing you don’t need the biggest/best bike to do those rides. Was that the langdales rather than scarfell pike as that looked like you stopped at the old inn?
Just a bit of information for you, there is no such water as 'Windermere lake' the word 'mere' actually means lake! So, you are referring to it as, Winder lake lake! There is only ONE lake in the Lake District and that's Bassenthwate Lake, ALL the rest are either Meres, Waters, or Tarns. 🤔.
The Lake District is my favourite place in England, having first gone there 35 years ago. I have ridden in the Lakes, but mostly I have walked there. And it often rains because you have to keep those lakes full?!
I enjoyed the video. I can’t understand why you don’t wild camp on them trails you’ve got loads and loads of open fields. Surely you could wild come for free.👍
Most land in England is privately owned by landowners. While wild camping isn't banned, the only way to wild camp legally in England is by seeking permission from the landowner. The only place that wild camping was legally permitted in England was in Dartmoor National Park.
