Kyle Rittenhouse Well Kyle..We were using 7 1/2 ft trolling rods with counter reels and were running planner boards with truetrip 40's which are a jet style diver with a release clip... Ran those about 50 back trolling small spoons which work great especially in the springtime. Also picked up afew using double worm harnesses but those tend to work better towards the summer monthes along with plugs..Plugs are a good bet to cover lots of water as the walleye are more spread out requiring you to hv to cover more ground to pick them up and plugs can be trolled at a faster speed in doing this..lots of the walleye have migrated from near Kelly's by now and are further north towards Canada and moving eastward especially now as it begins to get really hot into the summer monthes...good luck and be sure to type in my name on RU-vid and chk out all my other great vids...I do a lot of steelhead fishing on the Rocky.
