Hollywood needs to get its act together and focus on love in its many forms, not spreading words of division, violence and hate. In the words of another ' Beatle', "All we need is Love", not rape scenes, violence, war, drugs and terror. That appears to be all they care about now in 'tinseltown 'or is it what the hard brained executives think makes the big dollars? This is such an Intelligent and beautifully crafted film, actors in full control of their craft, music from a maestro and that house and setting. Wow! Well done Warner Bros. for this film, choice of actors and the young, British set designer who deserved an Oscar. What a poster for promoting hidden gems of beauty in the USA, the Chicago area.
Keanu is just so fucking soft...I have been following him singe th 80s and his aura just never changed, he generates such warm feelings,listening to him can get me through shit times. how wonderful he is in the world
This movie is one that entered my heart ...and will never leave. I don't think two other people in Hollywood could have done a better job. It is not the chemistry -- It is the true beauty of two amazing people who happen to be actors coming together. Sandra is always my favorite, and Keanu I never thought could beat his role in Sweet November...but wow. Two real people who's performances didn't capture me, but entered my heart forever.

I wish there'd be a Behind the scenes for this scene in particular, their timing waiting for the kiss ('like dreamers do') is so perfect. They don't seem to be waiting but longing for it and the kiss comes perfectly at the very end of the song. Magic at the set.

When I watched this when I was little I thought he was way to forward by going to her birthday party, dancing with her and kissing her when she was still in a relationship that he knew would end eventually, rewatching I see she clearly didn't love her than boyfriend, (she even admits in scene previous) and he was invited by the boyfriend, she initiates the dance and the kiss. Plus when I was little I didn't know how sexy he was!
The dance scene, such an intimate moment between them, makes me feel almost sort of uncomfortable watching, like I don't wanna "interrupt" their connection... crazy? I guess that's what makes the scene and the movie so good, they have such chemistry.
