In this video I test the Panasonic Lumix S5IIX Camera with the Lumix S 50mm f1.8 lens. These images were taken to test autofocus and sensor stabilization. All the video is made in handheld. There is no need to talk about the sharpness and image quality of this lens, nor of the S5IIX, this combo is a winning combo. As for stabilization, although I'm not a fan of IBIS, I have to say that it's really good and depending on what situations it's a great ally, even so, you have to be careful because it doesn't always respond as you expect... The ideal would be to disable it when panning or camera tracking a subject. As for the autofocus, it could be said that it is consistent, perhaps not like that of the sony (which seems to read my mind) but solid enough to trust it, although it must be mentioned that sometimes it has micro losses, nothing dramatic.This setup is great for getting cinematic content.

En éste vídeo pongo a prueba la Cámara Panasonic Lumix S5IIX con el objetivo Lumix S 50mm f1.8. Éstas imagenes fueron tomadas para testear el autofoco y la estabilización del sensor. Todo el vídeo está realizado en handheld. No hace falta hablar de la nitidez y calidad de imagen de ésta óptica, tampoco de la S5IIX, éste combo es un combo ganador. En cuanto a la estabilización, aunque no soy amante de IBIS, tengo que decir que es realmente buena y para según que situaciones es un gran aliado, aún así, hay que ser cuidadoso pues no siempre responde como esperas... Lo ideal sería desactivarlo cuando se hace pan travelling o seguimientos de cámara a un sujeto. En cuanto al Autofoco, se podria decir que es consistente, quizás no como el de las sony (que parece que lee mi mente) pero suficientemente sólido para fiarse de el, aunque hay que comentar que a veces tiene micropèrdidas, nada dramatico.
