My first ever video almost 10 years ago featured an LP670 SV but I've never actually driven one, until now! Join me at Road Atlanta with the Driving Club and thanks to the owner of this car an opportunity to push on and hear the V12 scream with an IPE exhaust!
I wish I had realized you were going to Road Atlanta, I live maybe 45 minutes from it, and that's being generous! I would have been able to make it, but one day! :)
@@jacobgbrownemedia Wow, it's been 4 years already! thank you for reminding me about this. I clicked through each time stamp and replayed it laughing my ass off. Completely forgot about this lol
I've always said the Aventador has literally nothing on the Murciélago sound. They sound downright crude next to a Murci. The LP640/670SV will forever be my dream Lambo.
My dad had a black muercielago in 2004 then bought a lp640 orange around 2010, now we have a sv and svj. Sv with novitech exhaust and svj with gintani both fully straight piped. We also had a f1 exhaust on the first black murciélago. I was very young but I never got so scared to a car sound and the neighbors filed a complaint against my dad cuz it was too loud. Back then my dad didn’t know anything about cars so he made it pretty much illegal with that sound and destroyed warranty. The lp640 is my favorite from the four sounds. It’s just nostalgic and different
Shmee alone is the top echelon of RU-vid car videos, the man has elevated so much he forgot he hasn’t ever driven a merci of any kind. I remember the old school car spotting vids with the turquoise super cars with Arab plates and the turquoise merci sv was my favourite, back then it was just shmee, marchettino (not sure how to spell it) and a couple others like S.o.l coming up but all I use to do was watch these cars drive in circles around London now look at him with like 15 cars getting spotted in the US with British plates lol well done to you sir.. I’m completely amazed how you do all of this work by yourself, you must be one of the most passionate car guys out there at this point 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
You can’t really compete with what he said in this video, nearly a decade since his first RU-vid video so needless to say he’s a Boss with a whole team now and I have been watching his videos for many years back when not many people knew about supercar spotting in London videos but my point was it’s still mostly just him going everywhere recording the content by himself and has been for years which is a lot of work. Obviously times have changed now, as you can see and he is now the one driving the same cars that where getting spotted in London years ago and driving them on track! That sounds like dreams becoming a reality to me and extremely motivational because the merci sv is one of my dream cars and for that reason Edmund Mondi gets my views. Very few top car RU-vidr’s can say they have been posting overall exclusive content for 5+ years let alone nearly 10 years strong, supercarblondie is exactly what her name says and probably doesn’t even know 10% of shmees car knowledge. To me my her content is a stretched out Instagram video and her whole set up is very artificial, I wouldn’t be surprised if the views and comments are too... I just don’t see the hype no hate, just calling a duck a duck 👊🏿
First time my heart melted at 7:10 in this video, then the second time at 10:10 my god this car reminds me of the lost art of great natural sounding cars ! I replayed each section at least 20 times Murci for life !!!
Last video: I don't think I have never sit in a Murcielago! This video: Driving a Murcielago SV an track! I would not be surprised if the next video will say buying a Lamborghini Murcielago SV LP-670
I've been an American V8 guy my entire life but, I'm not going to lie, nothing sounds as good as an Italian V12. That just might be the sound of God's voice!
I know newer fans will like the Aventador SVJ but for me it's always THE Murciélago SV. Especially since it was the last model to carry Giotto Bizzarrini's last iteration of the original V12, which sounded wayy more F1 like than the Audi developed throaty sounding one in the Aventadors.
I remember seeing this car when I was 10 or eleven and I thought that this was the coolest Lamborghini ever. Especially with that rear wing I just fell in love with it
The SV sounds like the Pagani Zonda! Truly a timeless machine! Lamborghini should finish producing the remaining SV's they never built! They should all be manuals only!!!
When I first saw this car it was on a Top Gear episode and Hammond was driving it. I fell in love with it ever since and imo it is the best lamborghini they have ever made.
For those who don't know Road Atlanta is an amazing amazing world renowned track that hosts Petit Lemans...in fact the last track of the season. It uses same but modified format as 24 Hour Lemans. It also hosts Formula D as well as mainy events in auto sports.
Most people in their 30s-40s lusted after the countach, for my generation (Im 20), this has always been mine. The high pitch scream and the smooth yet aggressive design and everything about this car has made me lusted after it since I was 10
Hi Tim, great to see you safe and looking well. Good weather for you as well. Thanks for bringing your experiences to our screens. Continue to enjoy your trip. Regards, Bob M. South Wales
I know really late comment. But they also cut the production of the sv to get aventador going sooner on top of there not being that much demand for them.
In 2010 the US was in a recession and gas prices were through the roof and still are, that's probably why they are rare here, but in europe I would of figured they would of loved this thing. It sounds so epic.
