The amount of time and deaths I spent on those dang floating rocks trying to JUMP to each one thinking it was a find the right jumping order puzzle… thank you so much for the guide!
@@BadAtGaming3484 I would have too if I managed to make the jumps, and I honestly think I would've deleted the game had that happened… it would've been so over at that point.
YOU CAN STILL GET THE KEY!!! If the Kolkets key doesn't spawn, there is a secret coffin you can jump into (around 1:10). You will enter a secret area and kill two mini bosses there then open more chests here, kill the mob and there is the key. Hope it helps.
@@Sylphorddefinitely luck based. But yeah, the coffin you can jump into leads into a special elite that guarded 4 coffin chests. In one of those chests is the special enemy that drops the key item
A tip for everyone. If you get Kolket's Razor instead of Kolket's Key... Just inspect Kolket's Razor in your inventory, the tip can be opened and then you'll have the key.
If you find 4 minotaur statues during the lament shooting the crystals on their head opens a secret passageway with more loot and a few *unique* enemies.
I seen a note near the chest mentioning the Song of Eafir, so I used the mod near the enemies before opening the chest, it made them move in very slow motion. I'm not sure if they move normally if you don't use the mod near them.
@misakikoko4500 They're like Weeping Angels from Doctor Who. They only move when you're not looking at them. If you get too close they try to grab you and you can turn to shoot them then.
wish more guides were this concise and straight to the point. I found hellfire to be a great tool to see where the floating rocks path is as the fire sticks to the invisible floors :)
Excellent guide. Clear & Concise. As others have mentioned, you can still get Kolket's Razor by jumping from the ledge into empty coffin in the middle of one of the rooms.
The way this games makes you backtrack for other things is astonishing, in a good way. I was trying to make a plasma cutter build, and I needed the night weaver grudge. Interestingly enough, in had this dungeon in the campaign, but I left the campaign like 8 months ago, as soon as I completed it, and came to the realization I never completed this dungeon cause I couldn't pass the first traps, and has been sitting on that campaign for all this time
Thank you I tried and tried and couldn’t solve. I found your video and solved it first time. I had same symbol as you. I like and subbed. Appreciate you.
A tip for everyone. You dont have to dodge the bolts if you are crouched as they wont be able to hit you. Its extremely helpful when you are on the last section. Hope this helps ease some stress for some people.
@@vagrantenderhere are vertical bolts too. obviously you can’t crouch under those. if you’re confusing the supply room traps with the first one, you cannot crouch under the saw blades. only the horizontal arrows in the first trap. you can also be hit by those arrows when climbing over the small walls
A tip for everyone that enemy that drops Kolkets razor can come out of ANY chest in The Lament. For me it came out of the chest right after the arrow maze.
Regarding the jumping puzzle equip Bonesaw that has 150 bullets and hit in front of you. The bullets will bounce on the hidden passage. Just increase the sound to hear the bounces.
I....HATE this dungeon. Just finished it today and this is the most infuriating dungeon so far. Instant kill death traps, a symbol puzzle that gives you no clues on how to do other than the single symbol in the book but doesnt tell you WHAT its for. Im all for not hand holding in games but god damn a HINT to start with would be AMAZING! This was not fun. And then you look at the fact you can make a hardcore character?! So just gotta ignore this dungeon it seems. Anyway, thanks for the guide, it definitly helped for the symbol puzzle, youre awesome.
Eso I think you missed the basement encounter after you jumped into coffin with no bottom in it. It will drop you into the swamp looking basement with full of enemies and mini boss. It is a messed up area with water all way to your chest. Can’t really roll or dodge the boss’s shards inside that water. My advice to anyone, clear the trash enemy fast and get out of the water as fast as you can before the boss comes down to meet you in the water. You will have a better chance of fighting him and dodging his shards in the stairs than inside a water.
If you leave from a checkpoint to ward 13 and then come back to the lament theres a chance for the kolket's razor mini boss to spawn. Worked for me after 1 time, hope this helps!
Can you return to the checkpoint right by the sarcophagus where Kolket would spawn (like in the video)? Or do you have to run from the beginning of The Lament back in again?
Hey, I just want to let people know that this is true! He didn't spawn forst time for me in the chest shown in the video. 3rd reset from Ward and back and the chest was once again closed and out popped the mini boss. Thank you for sharing!
Theres also another fake wall next to a grave in this area, The hidden area is pretty large too! I think i got 2 or 3 rings from the hidden area also lots of chests too! I forgot the exact location of the grave but its a grave on its own in a dead end. Hope this helps in any way
Yes I confirme this. This is a little room with a coffin chest, and if you look carfully, you can see down a wall a shape like a rectangle, juste the size to crouch and pass through to access to this hidden area. This room is in the big first area, after the arrow trap early area. And in this NEW area you ll find, you gonna meet other arrow trap under water, so you should be quick (use barrier spell can absorbe shots) to avoid to be killed
I don't think you guys realize this game is RNG, I see now random dead end let alone with any grave, and there's no statues for shoot. 🙄🙄 I'm in adventure mode and this Yaesha is 100% different to the yeasha I did in my story mode. You guys should figure it out lollll.
The boss enemy for Kolket's Razor can spawn in pretty much any of those around the dungeon, not just in the secret area. I had it spawning in the normal area for me
you're forgetting something, these aren't all the puzzles unless I skipped thru something, but what about the puzzle when you go unlock the shortcut for the dial there is a part where you can drop down that almost seems like a death fall but there is some floor underneath it if you step down the edge from the side. There you go down and there is a floor underneath with like towers that react on trigger plates.
If you encounter the stone enemies and die after you grab the chest they will despawn and you dont have to deal with them. Also to get the key, just inspect razor at bottom and it turns to key.
There is another puzzle in the dungeon, not mentioned: a cow level (cellar actually). Shoot 4 bull statue faces and there will be a lift opening. And then there is another "combat puzzle" in form of a cow statue pursuing you.
@@Rushman666 Camera rotation on mouse/keyboard (don't have to turn the character) + multiple players + delayed damage (fire, alien bugs, etc.) Loot isn't terribly interesting. Also it turned out there is more than one walking cow (maybe kill them all for an achievement?)
I think I'm bugged, I go to put in the same code different order but it always….. & I mean always resets my puzzle & doesn't allow me to walk through, need assistance quite annoyed
that’s how i did it first too. i thought something was fishy when sometimes my character would roll. only looked this up to figure out how to get back up and was like ”oooooooh.” 😅
It seems lime a lot of people and i mean basically everyone since theres no video of this. This video missed the 4 statue puzzle in the central chamber. Shoot the glass on the statue head and head down the stairs, take the “lift” down and prepare your butt for maximum tightness!
To kill "The Wither" easily, simply run back to the circular puzzle door you just came through and stand on the puzzle side and shoot it, he can't leave the room, so it's easy pickings, enjoy!
You are very wrong. I did that and he followed me and even jump from the 1 floor to the main entrance room and keep pursuing me as i run deep in the dungeon. Stop giving fake tips …
@Paco-us7eq You obviously didn't do it correctly. Just because you couldn't do it, doesn't mean others can't or haven't. It's not fake, you're just not following simple instructions. I guess you've died trying it the WRONG way, and you thought you could put your lack of skill set and blame on me. Oh dear, get good or delete the game. 🤔🤫😴
@@Mahmoud-ben-Choucroute I encountered The Wither at the same area, and it did stopped at the dial puzzle gate and just got stuck there. It might work, just only occassionally.
the room with 4 statues shoot the crystals on them that will reveal an elevator to the basement think it had the lithic signet ring 5% dmg reduction //edit be careful down there weird type of enemy will spawn i could not damage him but he is slow as molasses
Good to know! I think that section can spawn within any of the Yaesha dungeons. As one time I had it appear in The Lament, and another it was within The Chimney
There's a water way that you walk through that's past an illusory door. I'm trying to find that one damn it. Can't get through because of invisible pressure plates that I just can't make out on my own.
I also found a room whit for statues that after shoting theyr crital eye a path opened to an item and after piking the item a type of "angel" kept following me the type that moves only when you are not watching that was creepy as hell and ofc he one shots you and then disapears xD
for me with the floating rocks if I killed the enemies and some were over the rocks and they just walked to me, i thought how they not fall is it bugged? turns out they take the correct path to and showed me the way lol
I found the secret wall by myself, I was like "100% there is a fake wall around here", but I was curious what can you do with the crown because the stats look pretty shitty to me, but I guess is not a special item that unlocks other rewards, like the navigator's helm, or seal of the empress Or if it does, please tell me 😳😳😳
I found another fake wall in Lament. In a dead end room with a single coffin chest almost in the middle of it, my Wither spawned from it. On the right side of wall opposite of entrance there's a passage behind fake wall, with ladder down, which leads to a flooded area with one shot dart traps, like in the beginning, except you can't crouch. Don't know what's there just yet, haven't figured out how to cross the traps. If it helps any, I found it on adventure mode. Edit: It tuned out to be nothing major. Just a random injection with a grave chest that has a sun symbol on the wall.
I really enjoy this game but one thing. The only thing that irritates me to no end about this game is quest items being "up to chance". If I need the item to progress through a part why is there even a chance I can't get it in my game?
