They shouldn’t even be compared. Arda is a player who comes from a Turkish league and has struggled with injuries. He comes to a team that is full of quality in every position. A team that wins champions leagues. Yamal on the other hand is a player from the academy who grew up playing for Barcelona so he didn’t go through the struggle of adapting to a new environment. Yamal broke into a Barcelona that was broken especially financially. Yamal benefits from Xavi being the coach since Xavi loves Spanish players and the academy but if Ronald Koeman was still in charge Yamal would’ve never been selected. Yamal also benefited from the injuries of Raphinha, Felix, and Torres which was why he broke onto the scene. Please don’t compare Yamal to Guler because Guler is far far ahead of him. Yamal will probably turn into Fati 2.0 with the amount of games Xavi plays him 😂😂
I'm a Real Madrid fan. As much as i love Arda and so thrilled we've got him. You can't compare him to Yamal, yes Arda has a phenomenal goal to minute ratio, but these goals are coming when the games are already won, or recently when we already won La Liga. Even though hes scoring in the last few games. These games have no worth as they don't add anything to an campaign thats already been won. Yamals contribution has more importance to Barcelona. Something Güler doesn't have yet, it'll be interesting to see how Yamal develops. But the recent history with Barcelona of giving too much minutes to the young players might lead to serious fitness issues, i hope that wont be the case for Yamal.
