I had an inkling of a memory about the egg rolling game that popped into my head. After a bit of searching, I found this video, and suddenly all the memories of the maze and the painting games came rushing back. Wow, that was a nostalgia bomb!
SAME HERE! It was the egg rolling game for me as well. I was probably 8 years old back in 2001 playing this exact game. That's a piece of me that'll always be there as long as I have my memory. *Sigh*
This was such a well-designed game. It was so fun to play as a kid, it felt like you were really exploring the place. Glad they included content from the sequels, I did like those too as a kid.
Same. I have the disk but I doubt it would work. Might give it a try? But honestly this video kinda does it for me hahah. It’s funny how much different and more advanced this felt back then 😅
It’s crazy reading all these comments and also I must be crazy because all I did was go into the maze when I think of this game all I think of is the maze
When I was little, for the Make A Story game, I always thought the pterodactyl at the beginning was the one talking to me explaining the game, but now I know she's reading to the eggs.
I'm gonna cry. This is my childhood! Thank you so much for uploading this. It brought back so many memories. The maze used to scared the shit out of me when I was little, and I just can't help myself to go to the brown area again and again lol.
Gosh I remember playing this and the Tonka games, Reader Rabbit, Toy Story and so many more PC games from the Windows 95/98 era good times almost brings a tear to my eye with nostalgia!
I was cutting avocados today in my kitchen and this song randomly pooped in my brain. I had to look this up on RU-vid! Thank you for this video. So much nostalgia.
In the worst aspect ration where it’s not even the majority of the screen. Instead you have to look close in order to actually see the clip since the rest of the screen is full of unnecessary bullshit.
My lord... my memories of this game came back to me today after going to buy Freddi Fish collection on Steam and wanted to see if this game was on Steam. Nope. So, I searched online. Man, what a blast from the past. I remember this. Especially the maze and make a story. The Sharp Tooth always spook me! But, I loved it so!
My grandparents had this game including the math adventure but sadly the pc game was scratched and lost, so nether me or my grandparents don't remember what happened to game disk. It was such a wonderful memories I grew up as a kid. ❤
I remember when I first saw this game in my childhood. It was at the Annapolis Mall in Maryland, and when I saw a girl having trouble using the mouse to try and move Cera in the Bramble Maze, I had to help her by telling her to use the arrow keys. That helped a lot. I wanted that computer game for weeks, and I was so excited when I finally got it. It sure was fun!
This brings back So many memories… I had a small memory of this pop into my head and sure enough I found this. The nostalgia is real right now. ! Thanks so much for uploading
I loved this game but at the same time I remember being scared of like the whole atmosphere of it when I was a kid and I cannot tell you why. Even the music and opening gave me anxiety.
sigh i miss the magical feeling of being very young playing this game and many other games i rented just discovered this game came out the year i was born i was born on march 12 god i am glad to finally be seeing the games i used to love so much why didn't i check out my childhood memories more than just a few times these past years i wanna do this more often
My brother and i played this game many times as kids, good memories. I watched the first one and some of the sequels over again when i had this game. Unlike Jurassic Park this movie got it right, they didn't speak in real life but the thing they got right is we didn't coexist with these creatures back then.
In the "Toddler Time" and "Preschool Adventure" games, Chomper he is voiced by Lani Minella. And yes, he speaks --despite not doing it in THE LAND BEFORE TIME II: THE GREAT VALLEY ADVENTURE. If Chomper did speak in the "Activity Center" and "Math Adventure" games, he'd be voiced by the same voice actress (Lani Minella).
The intro and menu songs in "The Land Before Time: 'Activity Center'" game is loosely a remix of the intro/loading page song from "The Land Before Time: 'Animated Moviebook'".
There’s a lot of prehistoric nostalgia for 2D animated talking dinosaur movie fans everywhere. Sharptooth scared the crap out of me when I saw him in the Bramble Maze game. I had a demo version of this game where I had to click on the Test Drive button back then. What a disappointment that was for me, I'll tell you that. Doug Stone is the narrator of this video game even though many people mistake him for John Ingle. 😆

"So Judith Barsi died". ...! However, Ducky was not removed in the "Land Before Time" film series. She was voiced by Heather Hogan for movies II-IV and Aria Noelle Curzon in movies V-XIV. Only in I, the character's voice actress Judith Barsi died.
omigosh 😭😭 as a kid i didnt know how to follow most instructions and i couldn't figure i had to click the proyector in order to see the movies hahaha it probably frustrated me so much!!
At 3:38-3:41, the narrator mentions human references. But there are no people in the "Land Before Time" franchise. The narrator (Doug Stone) says, "Apatosaurus was as long as 3 school buses". School buses (and other vehicles) were in the time of humans. Another such mention of humans is in the film series. It was said by the narrator in 3 of the first 4 movies from the film series (out of the first 4 movies; I, II, III, and IV). It was heard in movies I, II, and IV. Pat Hingle was the narrator in I and John Ingle was the narrator in movies II and onward.
hearing the movie score being interpreted by a midi interface is a hell of a thing but then I guess this was right on the cusp of red book audio becoming standard for games (that and probably would've increased production costs a *lot*)
These are all the dinosaurs which appear in "Build a Dino": 1. Eryops (though I forget the name of this prehistoric amphibian; although it names it in the 3rd movie from the film series) 2. Edaphosaurus 3. Plateosaurus 4. Stegosaurus 5. Edmontosaurus 6. Parasaurolophus 7. Velociraptor 8. Euoplocephalus 9. Triceratops 10. Tyrannosaurus Rex From the book (The Mix and Match Book of Dinosaurs), the 10 dinosaurs are Diplodocus, Stegosaurus, Archaeopteryx, Iguanodon, Parasaurolophus, Ornithomimus, Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Triceratops. The Triceratops in "Build a Dino" has an ankylosaur like back (like a Nodosaurus). The error is also seen in the book "The Mix and Match Book of Dinosaurs". The said book makes 10 real dinosaurs. Here are the syllable dinosaurs (the 10 correct ones): 1. DI- PLODO- CUS 2. STE- GO- SAURUS 3. ARCHAE- OPTE- RYX 4. IGUA- NO- DON 5. PARA- SAU- ROLOPHUS 6. OR- NITHO- MIMUS 7. VE- LOCI- RAPTOR 8. EUO- PLO- CEPHALUS 9. TYRANNO- SAURUS- REX 10. TRI- CERA- TOPS The first part of the name is the tail part, the middle of the name is the body, and the final 1 or 2 syllables in the name is the head part. "Build a Dino" is like the book "The Mix and Match Book of Dinosaurs".
I remember playing this game back in preschool. I would spend hours viewing the movie clips. The only thing I hated was Littlefoot’s voice in this game.
I LOVE this game! How in the heck did you manage to be playing this in 2018? I was playing this way back in 2000! Dino Trivia game changed my favorite dino from Triceratops to Tyrannosaurus Rex! I saw that brown T. Rex with the yellow belly in the answer on the right at 4:11 and it was love at first sight! And now I have a stuffed T. Rex that looks just like it!
Actually the brown T.Rex in the "Dino Trivia" game, it was Chomper's father from the 2nd movie. And the narrator mistakenly says Tyrannosaurus Rex was the largest meat eating dinosaur. Well, Tyrannosaurus Rex, it was not the largest meat eating dinosaur. The largest was Spinosaurus.
Joseph Smon? Why did you not show all the movie clips in the "Tree Star Forest"? That could have been on a separate RU-vid video, you know. Same with the "Land Before Time: 'Math Adventure's'" Reward Center.
Ty ! :) Can you make a short video just when the angry dinosaure come in the labyrinth please ? I would like remember this a lot !! :( I was so scared by it. Pleaaaase, my CD is broken :'(
If i'm right, he is in the brown zone, when music stop and when we can listen growls. I just want to remember that and no one video show this on RU-vid :'(
Do you happen to know if there was ever a demo disc of this game? I had a Land Before Time disc as a child that began with a cream colored screen with an animated Littlefoot saying something. Now I cannot for the LIFE of me remember what he said because I was terrified of that particular animated version of him. The rest of the game was fine-but I only remember doing the maze and coloring book games, and I swear it was a demo disc that would let me know in some way those activities weren’t available on this disc. I almost want to say that even the man-made horror LittleFoot on the cream title screen gave some kind of disclaimer about that? But I straight up hid from him when he spoke lol. I guess I’m just trying to figure out if I spliced together Littlenightmare’s title screen from a different game with this in my memory. It wasn’t Preschool adventures because I remember that game in full, I scrubbed through your upload and almost cried haha :•) also a childhood fav. Thanks for the upload!!
was it on a cream colored disc? Because in that release of the Activity center you could only play a couple of the games unless you called a number and activated the rest of the game.
The narrator (Doug Stone) at 3:38-3:41, he mentions "school buses". That should not have been mentioned because school buses and other vehicles were not invented until the time of humans.
Hey! Great gameplay. Do you know how do i can play this game again? There's no much information online about this, and all the links to dowload are broken :/ wish you cold help me :)
