A Forbes Five Star Hotel, one of three in Chicago. (along with The Peninsula, Chicago and the Four Seasons)
Fantastic property. I'd say one of the best in the country that I've been to. I'd give it a solid 9/10, just right there with the Address Downtown Dubai and Angsana Lang Co in Vietnam.
Audio issues caused by wind at the beginning and the failure of my Sony microphone. Also not the Miracle Mile - it's the Mag Mile :)

LOL! You don't like Marina City! When it was built, it was Chicago's pride and joy. We used to call it "the corn cob buildings." It really was a phenomenal engineering achievement at the time.

Hey! I just stayed here with family. The infinity suite which is the biggest room is pretty nice. It’s definitely the best view I have ever seen besides the trumps grand suites and four seasons rooms

Thanks for this review! Will be staying here soon and haven’t found any updated videos on the property before stumbling across yours. One thing I’m curious about is the noise level. How was it in the room? And did you say you were in the Deluxe King or Deluxe premier? I can’t decide between the two. They seem identical 🧐

Hi Jade! Thanks for your kind comment. I believe it was the deluxe premier room. I am unsure of the difference between the deluxe king and deluxe premier, however if I had to guess it would either be a few extra square feet of space or the view. The noise level was something I was unbothered by- didn’t really hear anything that bothered me (I’m quite a light sleeper, too). Hope this helps and enjoy your trip!

Do you think anyone could use the lobby/. do they check you’re staying

Hi Alexis! You can definitely have afternoon tea or dine at Travelle without being a hotel guest. Not sure if you can just hang around the seating area of the lobby though.
