Discover the incredible story of the Battle of Kadesh, the largest bronze age battle ever recorded in history, which took place in 1274 BC. This epic clash between the formidable forces of Ramesses II of Egypt and Muwatalli II of the Hittite Empire marked a significant moment in ancient warfare.
In this documentary-style video, we delve into the strategic maneuvers, the innovative chariot technology, and the intense rivalry that defined this legendary encounter. Witness how thousands of chariots from both empires clashed along the Orontes River, near the town of Kadesh, in a battle that shaped the geopolitical landscape of the ancient Near East.
We'll explore the tactics employed by both sides, the role of the Sherden mercenaries, and the diplomatic aftermath that led to one of the earliest known peace treaties in history.
Whether you're a history buff, a student of military strategy, or just curious about ancient civilizations, this video offers a comprehensive look into one of history's most fascinating military engagements. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more historical content. Dive into the past with us and experience the thrill of the Battle of Kadesh. Great video! I am fascinated by Bronze Age history and I didn't expect you to do a battle on it! I'm surprised you didn't use Total War Pharaoh but the Age of Bronze mod instead. But I can't blame you as TW Pharaoh still feels underbaked. Anyway would love to see more battles around this time period, like Hittites vs Mitanni or Assyrians.

Praise Jesus(Ezra1:1)-Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying. God's work.

If story Moses existed, considering army of Pharaoh Ramesses II, why he pursued Moses by himself. Instead he better asked the medium army to chase Moses. Finally Egyptologist explained the story of Moses in Ancient Egypt was fiction.

Yeah there no denying it's doesn't match up but the pharaoh of exodus was never specifically named, with pretty much the only reason Ramesses the Great is chosen because he's famous. Not to mention a lot of the biblical chronology, (as much as can be trusted) indicates story is set closer in the 18th dynasty not his 19th.

Ramses did not achieve his main objective, and the losses were significant. His return to Egypt without a clear victory led him to frame the outcome differently for political reasons.
