Cool.....if you ever get to Chicago go on the boat tour on the Chicago river & Lake Michigan since the have locks too....much smaller but you get to experience the effect of going through locks.

I use to work for Celebrity Cruises and did the Panama Canal in 1994 from the Caribbean. Did a 55 day sail around South America. Was up at 5:00 am and did not have to return to work until 2 pm. Amazing, so happy to have experienced it.
