@coryanderson2933 Sully and I have been sharing ideas for years! We even worked together on my Greece series in CS1. I have mad respect for that guy. Two dollars is super inspirational on CS2 at the minute also
Dude!!! Just a few months ago you suggested that this game might not be for you. Today, you have single handedly transformed this game into something else entirely and with an extremely limited mod set at that. Your creativity and ingenuity is unmatched in the CS community! Keep slaying my dude!
As a frequenter of Sully's Discord, Ive had to share two of your most recent vids there because they were so good I felt as many people needed to see it as possible. Between watching both yourself and Sully, I'm completely astounded just how far you are both pushing the game in its current state WITHOUT CUSTOM ASSETS. Literally mind blowing. Amazing work, can't wait to see more.
Wow incredible, man I love this series, the whole thing is so unique, the waterfall is just so beautiful, also we may have some more appropriate ‘steam/smoke’ assets next week to share which would work better on the waterfall 👍
Brother, you keep raising the bar higher and higher, congratulations! As an Argentine, I must mention that the Iguazu Falls are located on the border between the Argentine province of Misiones and the Brazilian state of Paraná, and they are one of the 7 wonders of the world. A spectacle worthy of being seen in a lifetime.
It's near the triple border (Ciudad del Este, Foz do Iguaçu and Puerto Iguazú) but the waterfalls aren't in paraguayan territory. Something like 20km away from the Paraguayan border. The waterfalls only divide Brazil and Argentina.@@arthuralpaca
This is inspiring! I was recently considering making a Niagara map and was wondering how I was going to make the waterfalls. I haven't tried yet but might now that I've seen it's possible. Well done!
I really was not expecting Iguazu Falls in Rio Paulo - AMAZING job recreating it with the limited resources available in C:S2! I'm also really happy you added a gated community, they are quite common in Brazil. The gated community you added is pretty realistic for Brazil, but it looks more like a middle-upper class one. Golf clubs are quite uncommon in Brazil so the gated communities around them usually have way larger mansions. That said, you really captured how they look, with buildings very close to each other but with pools and fancy backyards. If you ever make another gated community, it would be interesting to have it right next to a favela, separated by a tall wall - it's sadly a very common scene in Brazil. You can also do it with high-rise fancy residential condos overlooking favelas instead - look for "Morumbi - Paraisopolis", there's a very famous picture with wealthy condos with tennis courts on one side and a sprawling favela on the other.
OK, so that was silly... I mean, DH apologising for leaving us a Dirty Carpark is a bit like Banksy apologising for spilling some paint on your wall... The fact that the vid finishes with "My next one has something I don't think I've seen anyone else do yet" is also very silly. DH mate, barely anything you've done in this series is what other folks have done so far. But cool, can't wait to see what it is! Monorails? bi-plane advertising fly-bys? LOL... next level mate, that's the level _below_ you.
@@Dirty.H Ummm... LOL... either will be bonkers... can't wait! (Oh, and you should see what Jay and Sully have just come up with... I'm thinking you're going to go full Carnival!)
Fun story about the Iguaçu Falls! The indigenous people believed the waterfalls was formed by a raging dragon that was made angry when the princess of the local tribe ran away with a soldier to live with him, when she was promised as a priestess for the dragon. Just thought you should know.
I can't wait to see what cities you will be producing in a year or so when there are so many more mods and assets. Great episode DH of an amazing series
Really love the waterfalls, except for the chimney smoke :p I do enjoy seeing how you're pushing existing assets to get the look you're going for, but that one is just a bit off :-/ Probably because it's not white? Or maybe they need to be pushed further inside the falls and lower down? Otherwise another exceptional episode!
wow, you really knocked it out of the park with this one! it's amazing how well you recreated the falls without any specific waterfall assets! this series just keeps blowing me away every episode
I've been about 6 times in 40 years and it's pretty accurate. There some more paths to middle and botton of river, and a big white hotel in Argentina side.
I saw the thumbnail and I immediately clicked. Because I need to know... How?! Just... ...how?!?! Edit: Absolutely brilliant use of surfaces and decals and vanilla props. Never in a million years I would have come up with this
Hey DH, You wouldn't be willing to put your updated mod list for CS1 to download please as I've been having issue's playing since the last update. I got sick of all the crashing so deleted everything in my mod list. Thanks
