Subhanallah for this video. I've been buying and reading anthropological books for years now trying to tie up loose ends on my own to connect the dots between modern humans in science and Adam in Islam. This video is the first time I at least got a clue. I feel the speaker is a little apathetic towards scientific endeavors and what their research yields. If the ullemah doesn't make videos and share it's knowledge on such matters us muslims can't do that conversation justice. Big bravo to the speaker: this has been a thing on my mind for YEARS.

Firstly your saying that people who separated from the rest of humans before 10k years ago, then they're not the children of Adam, ie not proper Muslims. The Australian Aborigines landed in Australia about 70k years ago. Look up the evidence. They made cave paintings of mammals which became extinct 40k+ years ago etc etc. Homo Sapiens was a Hunter gatherer until the agricultural Revolution. But are they really not the children of Adam? Sura Dahr v.1 tells us that for aeons, humans (ie the children of Adam) were not anything mentioned. In fact evidence suggests that Hunter gatherer societies were more peaceful and egalitarian, and thus moral, than agricultural society. The common human origin was way earlier than 4000 years ago. Egyptian civilisation itself, began about 5k years ago.

The problem that I have is that all of these possibilities are guesses & not clear cut answers from the Quran or acceptable hadiths from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) or the Holy Imams (A.S.). They are under the category of maybe or maybe not. OK?🤔

I’ve been looking into the epics of Gilgamesh ect and it does seem the timeline is allot longer than we first though. I wonder if these stories could still hold weight if we just extend out the timelines to fit with archaeological findings

He could be African, he could be arab. We have sources that say the Imam mahdi AS would resemble the prophet pbuh, and the prophet was not African. Even if the Imam was African, so what? The sect of ahlul sunnah waljamma originated when the people betrayed Imam Hassan AS and muawiyah called them "ahlul sunnah waljamma". Your sect came after the death of the Prophet pbuh while the shia were alive at the time of the prophet pbuh and the prophet praised the shia of ali and promised them paradise.
