I don't think it was shortcomings, I believe they let it happen. The local cops were made aware of the shooter 90 minutes before the shooting. The secret service were supposed to hold a face to face briefing with local LEO and they chose not to meet with them. If it would have been Biden , the shooter would have never seen him. Secret service would have kept Biden from going on stage until the shooter was identified and eliminated. They never thought Trump would survive. Now that he has, they are doing everything possible to cover it up.

The shooter was Maxell Yearick, not Thomas Crooks. Butler PD ran the plates and put it out there and then was forced to pull it. So local PD are complicit and that's why I don't want Trump to go back to Butler.

Ok if Crooks called out sick from his job, why didn't his parenrs just allow him to leave and go shopping for a ladder in the morning and call law enforcement looking for him later? The parents are complicit on so many levels.
He wasn’t a bully and he wasn’t bullied. I do believe that the FBI who is visited him several times before this happened had a great influence on his behavior. When you take a young person who wasn’t the most popular though and pump his head into thinking he will be something great, it’s influence. And I truly believe they also helped step up the perfect storm, not being where they should be at moving away from where they were supposed to be at not communicating. A multitude of things, the FBI, Secret Service and Homeland security all planned together in my opinion. he was just the sucker that they planned to expand to try to do something they wanted to do. I noticed that there are a lot of photos of Crooks dead body at various stages of his bleed out, the position of his rifle and the position of his pack before the police got on the roof. That's pretty damn fast to get a photo drone in the air after the shooting. Also, the rifle and the pack are on the same roof panel but the body is four panels away. What if Crooks was getting in position but had not actually taken the yet shot. Is there ballistics on his rifle?
His remote detonator was a garage door opener. How did he plan to distract attention when his van was found miles away (where he rode his bike from)? A garage door opener has a VERY limited range. Did they sweep the area for other IEDs?
Crooks car was parked nearby. The van was parked on Lawrence Ave, 10 minute walk from the rally. It had Arizona plates, Yearick connection. Bike was disproved to be Crooks.
