I read some statistic that over the past 13 years the Capitals have been involved in like 40+% of all playoff overtime games. As a fan I didn't like that statistic.

I swear I’m one of the few that loves the ot home goals without the commentary. Hearing the crowd erupt followed by the horn blaring gives me goosebumps. I love these videos.

Notes: -loads of not fun memories in OT, hasn’t been kind to the Caps generally -lord Backstrom has a ton of these... -sooo many waisted cup caliber teams -hoping that this year, the Caps can hoist another cup, they have a great shot as usual

Capitals missed the playoffs 5 times during that 8-year stretch, but they landed Ovechkin as a result. The rest is history.
