Let me take some time to write down on how this car made me feel the 2 days I had it.
I drive pretty much all possible AUDIs, and all the new ones. As much as I absolutely love how for example the new RS4/5 feel and drive an handle, there was something magical these two days with the V8 RS5 B8.5. It made me smile. Every single time. That sound, the up shifts and the downshifts, the way it looks and the way it feels. This car has soul. I think the word “soul” is disappearing more and more in newer cars, unfortunately. So, the B8.5 Audi RS5 is one of the last breed to have soul, and if you ever get a chance of owning one, Do it!

My friend just talked me into buying a 2013 RS5 and I'm ever so grateful that he did because now being a Newby to audi and I like it over are maserati sq4. The seats are amazing .The car is air-tight and so responsive and smooth ..I drive in dynamic and in Sport mode and the fact it has a launch n the force is incredible.. They are insane ..I'm working my way up to more advanced ones, but for now got mine for 14,500 with 100 thousand miles and the guy had just brought it to audi due to a coolent line bust and put in 8200 into the cat cause he loved it so much but whoever has an audi in here knows what I mean especially if you have the supercharged engine with turbo tfsi engine ..Car is air tight you feel as if you are in a ufo ..The steering wheel is like a video game seats make me just wanna drive so comfortable n the smoothness tight crisp cornering even going high speeds is insane.. Germans beat Italian cars handsdown

For me 1996 to 2015(end of b8 gen) was the golden age of Audi Cars. Almost everything could be a manual, the sick 4.2 v8, and not to mention biturbo v6. Awesome years.

@@ONI1013. The r8 will always be a dream car of mine. The 2012-2016 A6's were the prettiest in my opinion. Very classy elegant looking sedans. There was no rs8. There was a8, and s8, and s8 plus.

Rs5 don't come in manual transmission. If you drive a dual clutch gearbox wouldnt be complaining. Do you still light fire using stone and rock or do you use lighter?

I think that last one with the soul, was S5 with the 6 speed manual, but it is all debatable. One will consider current twin turbos as a last one with the soul, that is if Audi really goes with it's diesel+electric shit. If only they would just go full electric or put that 4.0 V8 TT into S and RS five series.

looks awesome. Such a shame about the ali express headlight switch surround and carbon on the steering wheel airbag. Also paddle shifters are just too big. Also no heated seats just seem odd in a car like this. I mean I love the b8.5 rs4/rs5 models but this is just a shame of it. Just keep it OEM for the most part. Get different wheels if you want to but this is just a shame.

I get the whole emissions and the planet and stuff, but truth be told, nothing beats a naturally aspirated V8, then there is the merc 4.0 63s, oohhhh am so confused. Audi needs to throw away these v6s, it not all about the 0-60 time but also how you get there. The sound and the fanfare is also very necessary

Absolute GOAT rs5. Since you have such great taste in model of Audi to pick, I won’t fault you for poor aftermarket taste on wheels, paddle shifters, and carbon steering wheel, those just cheapen the car. Have to stick to OEM + with Audi or else it looks like a teenager got a hold of It.

Did you ever think of doing reviews of these cars? You're a proper petrolhead so you're as qualified as other "RU-vidrs". I've thinked of the fact that you haven't appeared on camera and that you don't want so I'm guessing that's one of the main reasons. But you could do it POV style 🤷🏻‍♂️

Tarik Ziadi yeah and thats because it has an 6.3l Engine. Mostly N/A Motors don‘t produce much torque but it’s not needed, it’s Not a Diesel !

Andise No only Diesel. 350 HP btw. That is only 20 more than the Standart a7/6. However if you live in Asia or the US you‘re Lucky they still get the Petrol V8 with 450 hp

the new turbo v6 sounds like , well nothing, it’s horrible. 99% of cars sound like crap and sadly the new rs5 belongs in that group. and please gentlemen, i understand you can’t afford beyond a civic,accord,etc.. but there’s no reason to put a pipe on those cars and with a straight face even imagine they sound good. they sound like shit, period. even subaru wrx while great cars, sound bad. u wanna know music, try a 2005 merc wiith a stage 3 capristo exhaust. or for stock, a pagani zonda. etc..

such an amazing car...driven a couple of these and regret not having purchased one. Decent acceleration and revs to the moon with an intoxicating intake/exhaust note....nice work Audi! It's unfortunate Audi has made the decision to stop new engine production in their vehicles and they're focusing on electric powertrains. If you own a V8 RS5...don't sell it!
