It was pleasant to hear a voice that didn't rush through like life was something to be experienced at a MAXIMUM RATE. :P Hope you cover more indie games.
This was an absolutely awesome review, and I really appreciate how you mentioned and handled the mental health aspects. Amazing how video games can do that.
Just picked this game up the other day and have been playing it on the steam deck. I haven’t been able to put it down and it seems like a lot of these issues have been ironed out. I haven’t had any dips in frame rate or any weird glitches. If, like me, you’re just finding this game now definitely pick it up
Great review! Heck, I’m playing the Lost Ember rn, so this seems perfect to follow up. I have depression and issues like that as well and while I enjoy many intense action and horror games, I truly love games like this and indie ones that just really hit you deep and are so creative.
Heads up to anyone who was on the fence about buying this - It is currently on offer for just £2.39 right now until the 10th April, so now may be a good time to grab it.
That's your opinion. Mine is the same as this reviewer. I think the quirky, slightly childish sound of the excellent Norwegian voice actor with it's scandinavian lilt lends real charm and whimsy which fits the characters and game perfectly.
