Holiday Break and Hiatus Info Summary: The JRWI crew will be going on a break for the holidays. This will be so they can spend time with their families and friends without having to worry about spoon feeding us content. They will be back on the 13th of January. Riptide will be going on a hiatus for no more than 6 months. This is so Grizzly can flesh out the story and plan an ending for Riptide that is satisfactory. No other campaign will be affected by this hiatus. Your defenders will still be primed, your vampires will still be sucking. NO, Riptide is NOT ending any time soon. Based on what Grizzly said in the interview in the 5 years of JRWI video (recommend watching btw), we still have roughly another year (maybe more maybe less idk). Yes, we will be getting a campaign to fill the dark puckered hole that Riptide will leave. Bizly said something about a campaign that he will be running that is steampunk themed with an underground city and shit. Happy holidays, my fellow JRWI enjoyers. ❤️ ‼️MAJOR UPDATE‼️6/18/24: Grizzly posted an update video on the patreon on June 1st which gave us some information on Wonderlust (the steampunk campaign DMed by Bizly) and Riptide. He said that there were a lot of complications during the hiatus making it very chaotic for the crew which is why the hiatus was a bit longer than expected. Grizzly will be DMing a short 6 episode campaign (patreon only 😢) that takes place in a world with very few humans left because it was taken over by monsters. A group of monster hunters come together in an effort to stay alive and protect each other. Unfortunately, Charlie is WAY too busy to take part in this campaign. Instead, we will have Milo on the show who you might know for being a co-host with Bizly on their podcast, Spit-take. (Which, if you haven’t watched any of those videos, you better get your ass over to their RU-vid channel because it’s so fucking funny.) Anyways, I believe this campaign will be coming out before Wonderlust, most likely in the next month?? Speaking of Wonderlust, the council doesn’t have release dates yet for the episodes and I believe they haven’t started recording yet. Grizzly said they will be releasing them around August, but he isn’t sure as the hiatus has been so chaotic so far and it’s impossible to predict what schedule conflict might jump scare them next. All we know for sure is that Wonderlust is most likely coming in the next couple months. Riptide is sounding like it’s going great and, holy shit, we’re going to be hit by a tidal wave when it comes back. Grizzly said that he will be trying the make the upcoming episodes the best sessions he’s ever done. He also got help from a professional writer so you know this motherfucker is serious. I think he’s going to have a one-on-one session with Jay first, and he said something about using maps and crazy shit to spice up the episodes. As for when Riptide is coming back, I assume late August-early September but again, crazy shit happens all time for these guys so it’s hard to say. Just be prepared to get hit with a whiplash when that time *rolls* around because I don’t think we’re gonna recover after those episodes… I most likely left out some important information from the video. For about 3 months before this episode came out I wasn't keeping up with the new videos. When I noticed that no more episodes were coming out for a while I assumed that this was the final episode of riptide given the episode was called the final chapter. I put off catching up with the series because of the fear that it was over. Then recently I had a dream remembering all of the great events in the campaign which invigorated me to finish the series. Only to watch this episode and realise that the title was refereing to the final chapter of The Dark Puckered Hole

Crying, pissing, transitioning, vomiting, screaming, screeching, all at the same time. 10/10, amazing would lose my voice to again.

While I am sad that we aren’t gonna have jrwi for a while, I’m very happy that the boys and Grizzly are going on a break. You all deserve it, and we as fans will be patiently waiting for whenever you come back

The plant is Caspian because it has to be. - The most notable crewmates are Lizzie, Marshall John, Caspian. If it's not any of these three, the betrayal won't hurt as much because the story did not develop other crewmates for viewers to be emotionally invested. - It's Lizzie's crew, it's not gonna be herself. - It's not Marshall John because that is Grizzly's first self insert. also, it mimics Jay's story too much. - Caspian joined after a someone in Lizzie's crew died. - his background is a mystery, besides being part of a tribe in the outskirts, "born and lived by the tides as they carry us where it goes". - Caspian's mother died, sister left, father fell into depression. Caspian left. Family was also impoverished. With the lack of family and financial stability, Caspian likely sought to find purpose or work and seize opportunities. like being a spy. - he left 10-15 years ago at the age of 16-18, plenty of time to be trained. - Caspian does not dream of returning home at all, unlike Gillion (initially). - Caspian seems to have bonded quickly with Lizzie, despite being a newer member of the crew - Caspian fulfilled a ridiculous request, again demonstrating extreme dedication to Lizzie ("you know for that woman I'd floated for four more and then after that I think I would I would rather die") - "we have to unite against the Navy" unity, you say? - Caspian was suddenly fully attentive at the name Finn Tidestrider. Unless Lizzie and Finn were really close, this raises suspicion, considering how Jay and Gillion didn't react like that for other former Black Rose pirates, like Rufus. If it was Lizzie hearing that name, it'd make more sense. - I was suspicious of Caspian lending his sword to Gillion when I watched the ep on July 18, 2023, I will remember this

Dude.. at 1:48:28 when Bizly said, "pull it out," (referring to the compass) everyone in chat just started talking about Chip "pulling it out" and "whipping it out." NOW.. I'd like to remind everyone this wasn't the only moment where Bizly/Chip is "whipping it out." At the end of 100th episode, there was a bit (starting at 3:27:38) which Bizly was aiming for Kira to get Gryffon and at one point he said (at 3:28:02): "It's the beginning of summer. It's the beginning of whirlwind of whoop ass on Kira. I'm telling you now, I'm going to whip it out. Ima-" I will NEVER let go of Bizly saying that, because Chip "whipping it out" on Kira has to be the most vile and hilarious shit I've ever heard.

I started watching this after all of the videos had already been out for a couple months, and I didn’t see any recent Riptide uploads, so I assumed the campaign was over, and I kept getting closer and closer to this episode, thinking it the last, like “this can’t be the end, they still have so much more they still need to do to fulfill the story!” and I can officially say I am SO glad that I ABSOLUTELY misinterpreted the title and place in the playlist

personal theory of mine that the military is raising child soldiers that are from the undersea. The only undersea characters that are above sea and are of high importance that we can trust are gillion(banished by undersea) and peepaw(one of the undersea's greatest schollars). We know of gillion's sister who was talking to Grandma ferin and Caspeian who was originally part of black beards crew (we dont know his full backstory as to why he is there, we only know he is from a small unknown part of the under sea.) We also know the undersea were having conversations with the military. Pepaw and gillion have good reason to be out of the undersea, but we have no clue how Caspeian and gillion's sister left(we know undersea people dont leave because of how people reacted to seeing gillion in allport). Caspeian could also have been the reason the navy managed to find black beard and kill him. This also means lizzy has been blaming herself for nothing and that the true person to blame was the person who was next to her(also, caspeian is way too good at magic and fighting when compared to gillion who trained from birth in the undersea so he could be millitary trained.)this also gives lizzy's backstory and her bad relationship with Jay to be fixed even a little bit more We could also argue that gillion's sister may be a tool used by the military to control gillion who is the apparent chosen hero of the world. We could also say they are clones using the technology from the old navy base Or mind control because grizzly briefly mentioned a machine that made gillion feel like he wanted use any frustration he had to swear loyalty with the military(which might mean gillion could also betray chip and Jay like some kind of sleeper agent.) Also it doesn't make much sense how caspeian knew about edyn and introduced her almost out of nowhere. *Sorry for any Grammer and spelling mistake I don't speak English fluently and auto correct will kill me*

Grizzly, bruh! I do not believe for a second that this is your first time doing erotic literature! If you wrote that chapter in about 40 minutes then you have some form of prior experience! This episode was absolutely fire, love the way that the story has been playing out and it's so interesting to see how things will go with the crew split up to accomplish two different time sensitive goals.
