Welcome to the last day of our mother-daughter camping trip. Jess and I have truly had a wonderful, relaxing, restful, and fun experience together. We are already looking forward to planning our next trip! Thank you so much for watching and following our trip.
Welcome to our page! We are an atypical family dedicated to sharing a joyful life alongside things like autism, blindness, complex medical histories, and mental health disorders. We hope to take some of the mystery out of what it is like when special needs children grow into special needs adults. This life can be good. Beyond challenges and frustrations we find even more joy, entertainment, laughs and good times.

Oh what a treat that was to hearJess just sit there and talk away like that to whoever that was that she was talking to. That was awesome! She had quite the conversation going! Loved it! Love this💖 I'm wondering if the smaller area of the camp shower is more doable because it's a smaller environmental space for Jessica to be able control her own environment. Larger spaces have more potential for "surprise" stimulus to startle her. Just a thought... I think about Jessica's thought processing and task accomplishments. Her brain & nerve's maturing are fun to watch... Just like my former kiddos in school I ignored CAN'T or WON'T - the brain is a beautiful organ, there are different timelines for us all.

Unsure how far y’all are from Bowling Green Ky but they have Beach Bend Campground plus the park. The lazy river & wave pool is so much fun. Plus there are water slides along with regular rides. Use to camp there as a kid.

I like bread, but for some reason, hamburger buns sometimes seem to make me feel nauseated. So the tortilla was a better option.

Can you please give us another tour of the camper we are wanting to get another one we had one when our youngest son was little and now he’s fixing to be 22 so we where looking for the bedroom and extra beds !! I No most table turn into a bed but we don’t like the bunk beds because our SN son doesn’t do good with tight spaces

Sure, I’m happy to do one. We don’t love bunk beds either so the quest for the second bed is something we understand.
