So cool hearing this interview. It's a damn shame knowing we will never hear another song by that golden voice. April Wine was so huge for all of us in Michigan back in the seventies and into the 80s. Last time I saw April Wine was in the early nineties at Club Eastbrook in Grand rapids. And as usual they brought down the house. Rest in peace, Myles.

We lost a great musician. One of my favorite bands. Met him briefly at a Burton Cummings and MacLean and MacLean show.

First time I've ever heard him interviewed in depth. Myles seemed like a highly intelligent guy--as smart as his lyrics were. He's absolutely right about the Bahamas---just off the coast of Florida like the Keys are. The first island is within rowing distance of Fort Lauderdale. Only downside is its a "hurricane magnet"---more hurricanes seem to hit the Bahamas than anywhere else in the Carribean. I would rather live in Hawaii without as many natural disasters. But I can understand why he would never want to come back to the mainland---I would never want to come back from Hawaii!

Roughly Speaking was a good album, their last studio album with only Myles and Brian. Everyone else was a studio musician. Rock In Peace Myles 🙏

If you ever get the chance to read his autobiography- don’t. That’s the most boring, lack of heyday details, “I like to golf and sail boats” aging boomer crap I’ve ever read. I dig much of the AW catalog, but that book is BRUTAL.
