Such a powerful ending a beautifully made game that deserves more credit than it has The ending was so powerful that I cried A stunning story with such a great ending
Although it's left quite open and for the player to create their own thoughts upon, this is vaguely what happened in the final scenes; Trico and the boy finally make it to the top of the White Tower they've been trying to reach since the beginning of the game so they can fly over the tall walls and finally escape the Valley. Just as they are about to make their escape, The Master of the Valley sends a signal to all of the Tricos, calling them back to the White Tower. The Tricos come back, and two of them deposit their chosen humans into a bird like statue, which then proceeds to throw out a barrel as a reward for delivering the children. What the children are used for is unknown, no one really knows. After this a few of the Tricos check out _our_ Trico, then one of them spots the boy and attacks him. Our Trico sees this and defends the boy, knocking the other Trico over, the rest of the Tricos take offence to this and attack him. The boy runs to find his Mirror but before he can a Trico throws him off the tower. He lands on a flying Trico being controlled by The Master and waits till it lands back on the White Tower then he runs to retrieve his mirror and actually gets it this time. Once he picks it up a Trico attacking _your_ Trico pulls off his tail throwing it into the middle of the tower where the Master is. The boy then goes into the White Tower to find Tricos tail which still shoots lighting on command, so he can destroy The Master. Which he does so. The entity explodes and the boy passes out. With The Master destroyed, the Other Tricos are no longer under its control, so they are free, and stop attacking Trico. They appear disoriented or confused, and end up backing away so far that they fall off the tower and stop in mid-flight which no one is certain why. They most probably survived the falls, but we don't know. Extremely wounded, Trico finds the boy unconscious. The White Tower starts to crumble, (but doesn't actually collapse in the end) after the Master was destroyed, so Trico takes the boy by his shirt and attempts to fly, and succeeds. While flying, you can see the "Evil Trico" that you fought on the drawbridge climbing a spiral pillar, it's no longer under the Masters control. Trico makes it out of the Valley with the boy, and swallows him so it's easier to travel. He then takes the boy back to his village knowing he will be safe there. He throws up the boy, whom knows that Trico must leave, so he orders him to go. Trico leaves the boy while the elder says "I doubt it has long to live" But after the credits, you see some children looking at a mirror which is buried in the ground (it's your mirror) then the boy, who is now a adult walks up to it. He uses it which sends out a signal to Trico, going all the way back to his cave. So Trico lives, and next to him you can see another pair of eyes, which is most likely the Trico that you fought on the drawbridge, and you can also hear baby noises, so Trico most likely had a baby with the other one. I hope that clears things up for you? I'm not that good at explaining. Long story short; The Tricos were being controlled by The Master of the Valley to bring back humans for an unknown purpose, then they would be rewarded with food. Once the Master was destroyed, they were no longer being controlled, but were confused and disoriented so they fell off the Tower. Trico took the boy back home then returned to The Valley. Our Trico now lives freely with the Other Trico and a potential baby.
@@purelymeek8475 Just a theory. i think the humans are divided into two parts. Soul (dark) and life (light) The light blue stuff gives life or energy and had healing properties. The life substance is put into barrels for consumption and probly keeps the master alive. The soul part, shadowy and dark, is used to power the armoured statues.
