I'm a movie buff... this TV Series really blew me away, and I mean truly...I fell in love with it so much that when i finished watching the whole Series, I just restarted it all over again and watched the whole series all over again...Long story short, one of the best shows on TV I've ever seen just as good as Game of Thrones if not better...I truly mean that...
I absolutely agree he was mesmerizing! He is a great actor with presence! When h showed up on the battlefield you knew it was a great moment. And his devotion to his religion was played perfectly!

David Dawson made the whole movie above great. I could watch him forever. What presence on the screen! Wow! He is a great actor! After he died Edward wasn’t very good as a spoiled king.
Absolutely true! I particularly love watching shows or movies that depict history specifically the likes of the last kingdom, seven kings must die where there’s horse-riding, sword-fighting in medieval or pre-medieval European clothing. It helps me imagine how it’s like in that era. It makes me feel grateful of our modern conveniences.

Diese heldenhafte Figur wird von Alexander Dreymon gespielt. Ein perfekter Darsteller für diese Rolle, der mit seinen charismatischen Blick, ausdrucksstarkem Gesicht und natürlicher Erhabenheit die Figur krönt.

This is just a tremendous assemblage of people who do a great job making history and fantasy come to life. And the camera work and direction is exquisite as well. There’s an integrity to the show where sex and romance are seen and heard but not overriding or gratuitous where perhaps it has been on other ancient fantasy series. I’d be interested if woman historical characters really fought in battles like this Brida I’m sure there have been some women warriors like her but the Queen of Mercia not so sure. But makes for a great story.
Which makes it even more cooler that she was killed. Looks are irrelevant in such situation. If you lived back then and you think u are cursed, you will remove the curse.
