The Quik is such a fantastic blaster. Seeing its development as a beta tester was so impressive. If folks like the Quik and Flycore, they should be very excited about what OFD has coming soon. I've been building some Quiks as I have time (licensed seller). Keep an eye on the DetroitDartworks etsy if you're looking to snag one pre-built. I should have 2 more on the shop when I get back from a family trip in 2 weeks.

You should try it with about 25 of the 50 cal foam balls in the 10 half dart shell. Range will likely be short but the spread should be amazing.

I wanna see someone make a double-barreled shotgun that uses those big shells. Could you imagine the chaos, firing 20 darts down range in an instant? Or just having two shots primed at once. Is it practical in a war? No. Is it fun? Yes. And am I gonna feel like the Doom Guy when I pull the trigger? Ooooh yeah! Hell, if no one else does it, I might get into blaster design just so I can make it myself someday!

Do you think you'll do a review of the Elite 2.0 Trailblazer RD-8? From what I've seen, it seems to be an 8-shot variant of the Hammershot, with reloading specifically on the left side. I'm probably just gonna pick one up because I'm a sucker for blasters like those, but I think we'd love to hear your thoughts on if it's any good!

do 50 cal foam balls work in the 10 dart shell? if so, how many per barrel?

It takes four foam balls to make up the length of a half dart, and each barrel takes two half darts. 4 x 2 = 8 foam balls per barrel 8 x 5 = 40 foam balls per shell 40 foam balls per shell = the Nerf equivalent to a violation of the Geneva Convention Although realistically, thirty balls would be more practical. The two extra rounds could cause excessive drag and might induce firing issues, and it's still OP af.

Half darts are about 38mm long. 50 cal foam balls are 12.7mm "long". 38 x 2 = 5.98 lets call it 6 per barrel. It looked like some of the top half dart was not in the barrel so lets subtract 1 ball from each barrel. So a conservative guess is 25.
