Playing US campaign. Reached 3rd chapter and held of the first British counter attack to this song. It reached it's crescendo as the minutemen came out of hiding and ambushed the red coats in mass.
Such an underrated theme and I love listening to it. A lot of people overlook this and mostly listen to Promentory, The Kiss, and the main title theme.
I imagine a young George Washington at “fort” necessity, being surrounded by French and natives and facing the facts that his first military battle might be his end
"The bomber was intended from the outset to attack strategic targets by precision daylight bombing, penetrating deep into enemy territory by flying above the effective range of antiaircraft artillery. Turbo-supercharged radial engines (a uniquely American development) were to give the necessary high-altitude performance, and heavy defensive armament was to provide protection against attacking fighters. Accuracy was to be achieved with the Norden bombsight, developed and fielded in great secrecy during the 1930s." ONE DAY , you have to pay ! 777
It's the strangest thing. I don't care for the movie at all. I fell asleep watching it when my parents rented it on VHS, I tried watching it several times on TV and ended up turning the channel, but the soundtrack is by far the best I've ever heard. I literally wore out a cassette copy of it and I have it in my car's CD player for when I get bored with talk radio. Not much of a movie, but you'll never hear a better soundtrack.
The Shawshank Redemption Soundtrack, by Thomas Newman, is another one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE soundtracks. It tells a completely different story, all on its own
"The French...haven't the nature for war.Their Latinent voluptuousness combines with their Gallic laziness and the result is that they would rather eat and make love with their faces than fight."
