Great reaction. "You haven't seen the world" - IMO not rude, but rueful and sympathetic. Joel's concern about Ellie's emotional well-being is already consistent and they're foreshadowing Joel's regret of her lost childhood. Joel is already breaking his rules from Ep3: talking about Tommy, their history, and even Tess. This may be why he feels the need to say "cargo" to reassert his defense mechanism. Also: love how Bill and Frank live on in ONE nice-smelling sleeping bag and Bill's coffee. Fun fact: Joel, after showering in Ep3, is wearing Frank's shirt from his big fight with Bill. This matches a game shirt as does the shirt Ellie got from Bill and Frank's stockpile.

I wonder if there is a connection as well with mentioning Starbucks since they were both on Game of Thrones and there was that infamous scene from season 8 where someone left a Starbucks mug visible on a table in the scene. Also, the dude who is 2nd in command in the Kansas City group who shows Kathleen the basement is the voice actor for Tommy in the game. I love that they got a bunch of them to guest in the show.

The voice actors for Marlene, Joel, and Ellie all make guest appearances in the show. The voice actress for Marlene is the woman who plays Marlene as well. Just some fun trivia. A fun, kind of, episode before the trauma starts again

I've already seen the entire first season but I love watching people react to it and I have been enjoying your reactions in particular. You really pay attention and seem to catch everything which I love. Yellowjackets on Showtime is the hot show right now. I would like to suggest the AMC show, Interview With The Vampire. It's so good! There's only seven episodes and they are all streaming right now.

First off, if Nikki doesnt look beautiful in this video then I dont know what beauty is. Secondly, her facial expressions are so expressive that if she didnt speak a single word, I would still find this entertaining.👍👍 The only bad thing about this is the wait between episodes.
