The actor who played Henry did a phenomenal job portraying all that emotion just by emoting after shooting his brother Sam.

That Ellie whimper when Henry shoots himself was GREAT acting from Bella.

I think this is even sadder than the Bill and Frank episode. Bill and Frank got to live a long life and go out peacefully on their own terms. Henry and Sam were just kids.

The. Big one is called a “Bloater” from the game it is the final stage of the infection it takes about 10 years to get to that point. Great reaction y’all!!

The first person Henry ever killed by his own hand was the one person he was trying to save. So heartbreaking.

I love how Asia is not afraid to admit that she's no hero. When that sniper bullet whipped by, I thought Asia was gonna drop to the floor!😄

Well if nothing else the writers are great at making you fall in love with new characters. Then crushing your feelings by killing them off. Another heart breaking episode.

Keivonn Woodard, the boy who played Sam, has a bright future ahead of himself if he chooses to keep acting! He has such big and emotive eyes, I felt like I was experiencing every emotion he was feeling. I’m halfway through watching y’all’s reactions and I’m loving it!

For me, this was my favorite episode. Having had to look out for younger siblings in the past made the episode really hit home. Truly heartbreaking and well-acted by all involved. Joel could relate to Henry better than anyone because he understood that horrible feeling of not being able to help someone you loved.

I love how Ellie and Joel did not even have to talk and they knew what the other was doing. In the last episode, he told her stay down, stay low, stay quiet, squeeze through and don't come out, so she went to the car. As soon as he saw her going towards the car, he knew right away her intentions and provided cover. Same thing when she came out of the car. He knew she was going for Henry and Sam and once again provided cover. "Do you trust me?" she proved she did trust him. It nearly broke me when she cried after the second shot. Henry had never killed anybody, the first person he killed was his brother. The second was himself. :(

Another great reaction to another great episode, this one hits hard at the end. Great performances all around, but props to the little boy who played Sam - he's deaf in real life and this was his first acting gig - what talent.

I keep thinking if they'd stuck to their original plan Sam & Henry would have gotten out but they waited too long trying to take Ellie & Joel for protection which they didn't need cause the tunnels were empty.

The last few minutes of this episode were a roller coaster ride! So much anxiety, stress, sadness. The actors who played Henry and Sam were PHENOMENAL! I love watching you two react to this show and I'm glad you are both still enjoying it ☺

What an absolutely heartbreaking and soul-crushing ending 😢Easily IMO one of the saddest in cinema / TV history, it's right up there with The Mist ending.But I was happy to relive this episode with you two and like always I loved the reaction👍

This episode is the best example of how love isn't always the beautiful thing we think it to be. We see the chain reactions and consequences to how selfish it can be. Henry saving Sam killed Kathleen's brother, which then sent her on the downward spiral that leads to her one track mission that kills everyone and possibly the rest of Kansas City. And ironically, the one person all of this was set in motion by. Henry. While I didn't like Kathleen, I can also put myself in her shoes and understand why she's devastated. Not only was it the death of her brother, but her protector and light. And as gross as her "children die all the time" speech was, she was right. Sam still dies. I also completely understand Henry. In his position, a majority of us would do the same. Of course we would! And that's what makes the show so good. Aside from the rare occassion, there aren't true villains. You can see the other points of view because on that human level, we know how consuming and motivating love can be.

I was hoping these characters were gonna travel with them. I was heartbroken 💔

Yet another great reaction from y’all, probably your best yet for The Last Of Us, and that is saying a lot because y’all are so good every time. I think I’ve said this already but I’ve played the game over 10 times. I’ve now watched this episode three times, along with numerous reaction videos. I can tell you sincerely that every time I’ve played the game, watched the episode and the reactions that ending hits me so hard. It’s the toughest part of the game and the TV series for me. It’s an amazing episode but that ending HURTS ME. I honestly don’t see how you guys can get through these scenes without crying. I’m a grown man, over 50 years old, and I ugly cry at this ending pretty much every time I watch it. For me it hits harder in the series than the game because in the game Sam is Ellie’s age and he isn’t deaf. He’s age eight in the series. It just breaks me every damn time. The acting is top tier in this episode, especially Bella Ramsey, Lamar Johnson, and Keivonn Woodard. Bella’s scream/wail when Henry shoot’s himself is SO REAL. I’ve watched numerous reaction videos and none of the people’s REAL reaction to that come close to Bella’s ACTING reaction. I always wanted Henry and Sam to make it to Wyoming, both game and TV series. They are by far my favorite side/guest characters in the show, and every one is a side/guest character in the game and show other than Ellie and Joel. I wanted to add something I forgot. Another devastating part is that Henry’s first kill was Sam, and then himself. He said he killed Kathleen’s brother but he actually just turned him in to FEDRA. So to him he was responsible and therefore in his eyes he “killed” him. And he’s damn sure no bad guy no matter what he says. ANYONE would have done the same and even Kathleen admitted that her brother would have understood and forgiven Henry. A stunning episode regardless. I’m so glad people who haven’t played the video game get to experience this story. The game is a masterpiece and so is the show. Thanks to the both of you again for sharing. Y’all are both awesome and some of Asia’s reactions are hilarious, along with BJ’s hilarious comments. Money is so tight right now that it’s hard to spare even a dollar but as soon as I can I’m getting your patreon and I want the Reel Em’ In level. Excellent acting by Bella in the scene where Henry shoots himself. Her whimpers killed me and instinctively gave me a fatherly urge to hug her The swarm scene is incredible good and creepy For sure one of the best action scenes I've ever seen Henry's first murder was his own little brother. It must be pure horror to realize what you just did. The "I'm sorry" at the end got me so hard. I cried 4 of 5 episodes and I love this show

My favorite BJ line is "that's disturbing" lol

I love this show so much. That zombie scene where the come out of the ground is one of my favorite zombie scenes ever! so good.

I just want to point out something y’all seem to have missed, Eddelstien, the guy Henry and Sam were living with, was the doctor from last episode. He didn’t come back because last time we saw Kathleen shoot him

This was a great episode. In the game there is no Kathleen or that group of people. There are just a bunch of bandits you could call them. Even though I knew how this ends before watching the episode it was still heartbreaking but i will admit a bit less than the game because you spend more time travelling with Sam and Henry so you’re more attached and Ellie has no idea that Sam is bit(he’s also not deaf in the game) You also find notes that explain what happened to the people in that underground home which is very sad The part with the lone sniper is a very intense part of the game as your playing Joel to get to the house and save everyone when a big group of bandits show up. The Horde that pops out of the ground doesn’t happen but it does when you go into the tunnels underground and and meet that huge Bloater. A friend of mine is in that huge group of infected and he said it was so fun to play a clicker/runner. However one of the best episodes! Great reaction guys. The actors did a phenomenal job . I had the chance to be an extra in this show but couldn’t due to family tragedy that occurred as parts were filmed in my home town but I’m proud to see my province be featured in this series 😊

So 2 things…. Ellie put that blood on him just to make Sam feel better. She has no idea if it’ll help or not, but she wanted to comfort him Two. Sam didn’t react like normal infected because he was dead, that’s why he didn’t do anything until Ellie touched him. In the game, Sam wasn’t deaf, but the scene was still heartbreaking. I wish Sam and Henry would have been able to stick around. And BJ picked up on it, in this show…. Nobody is safe

That was Edelstein, the doctor who was with them before she killed them, they went back. He left and they must to have captured him and he didn't return to Henry and Sam because she killed him.

The ending of this episode got me. Man, so sad and tragic.

That big ol infected is called a bloater. I can't remember the time frame but the infected change after some time, for example first month or so of infection are called runners 6month old infected become clickers after like a year the become bloaters

just think this all came from a video game. the big ones are called Bloaters. Remember Joel said that some of the infected have been walking around for 20 years... so you get an idea of what happens when infected are around a while

The big infected guy is called a bloater. Most likely it wasn't as buffed as it is now. They become like that after long infection of three fungus.

I don't say this to defend Kathleen at all (she's crazy as shit) but you have to consider the time and place when you judge her. Imagine living in a place (for TWENTY years) where the government subjects you to rape, torture, and murder every day. Now imagine trying to survive in that situation and seeing other people who manage to avoid all the evils of that government by snitching on their neighbors (collaborating). You hold strong through it all and then watch as someone reports your brother (or other loved one) to the Feds for some made-up "wrongdoing." He is then subjected to a long term of torture before he is finally murdered. Might you have some resentment toward the collaborators? Another thought on a slightly different subject. Consider the circular situation Henry found himself in just before killing himself. He was a fugitive because he became a collaborator for the sole purpose of saving his brother's life. He turned in Kathleen's brother and when that brother was murdered, Kathleen led the revolution that overthrew Fedra and put her in a position to take revenge on collaborators. Kathleen was so fixated on collaborators that she ignored the "infected" problem. Henry and Sam made it out of the city closely pursued by Kathleen and her gang. The Infected broke loose from their underground "prison" and killed everyone -- infecting Sam in the process. In the end, Henry had to kill Sam all by himself ending a whole series of events that happened only because he tried to save Sam in the first place. He was so broken that he had no choice but suicide. And, this was another great reaction. You're doing a great job and your reactions all feel real.

Henry did not actually kill Kathleen's brother! He told FEDRA where he was and they did the deed! Remember when Kathleen said she talked to her brother while he was locked up?

Henry never actually killed anyone, he gave FEDRA the name of the Resistance Leader and FEDRA killed him. But, obviously, Henry was culpable to that.
