Fun fact, the guy who gets torn apart by the bloater is Tommys voice actor in the game. He was stoke to find out how he died as its the same animation when the bloater kills you in game

Scariest part is we don’t see the Bloater die. It tanked 2 whole magazines of 5.56 without even bleeding. Just a few flakes off its armor flicked off.

What's worse is the infected are now out in the open, the city's militia is dead. Those poor citizens waiting will soon know what hell has been unleashed upon them now but would never see it coming and will be severely underprepared. Cant even imagine what must've happened to them.

Dude, how big was that nest they disturbed? They just kept coming, lol. Even at the end of the scene, they're still pouring out of that hole one after the other. No wonder people avoid the infected zones like the plague. They had a small and reasonably well equipped army and they still got overrun.

My excitement to see the bloater was unmatched to my family's reaction. It made it even better when 1, it was the like the animation in the game, and 2, that it was Tommy's voice actor. The whole show was great to see.

The scariest part is knowing that ALL the infected will eventually become this stage at even for the most successful survivors! And that ain’t even the final stage! Just imagine them ALL being bloaters!

As horrifying as the bloater is, it seems like one of the better deaths to have in this universe. I’d much rather have my head almost instantly ripped off than to be bitten/beaten to death by a horde of infected/clickers
