@@thisbubblygoodness7611 there was no way for Yara to get there. Both entrances in order to get to Abby were blocked. Tommy had closed his with the shutter, and Abby blocked here enterance with the fridge. I seriously doubt that Yara could have made it through either one of those with a missing arm. I also seriously doubt that Tommy wouldn't spot her. Yara, quite literally teleports in order to save Abby.

Griffins Grubbin I think she saw herself and Joel in Abby and Lev and didn’t want to kill her but then she got that flashback and got mad but then she remembered the night before Joel died and she wanted to try to forgive him but never even got to chance to try which is why it’s so heartbreaking

Because there was no plot armor in the first game. It's totally realistic that Joel got impaled by rusty rebar and avoided Tetanus despite receiving no professional medical attention.

Tommy had the most plot armor out of everyone in this game. He got shot in the head at close range, but somehow made it all the way back to Jackson with no medical attention at all.

Just goes to show you how useless both of them were as soliders. I mean Tommy has a lot of experience, obviously. He was with the Fireflies but even putting that aside, Abby was not a good soldier. She literally got lucky this entire game. And ik Issaic said later that Abby was his best solider but look what happened to him. And nobody better not say, its because Abby got caught off guard most of the time because that doesn't mean nothing. And her killing Jesse and shooting Tommy doesn't mean either because once again, she had help.

The fact that we couldn't see his face was like death coming after you from around the corner

TLOU1 was more realistic across the board in regards to sexuality and human interaction than this shit.

The only thing important about him was how the loss of his loved one affected him which contributes thematically. When it comes to Ellie, her sexuality really isn't treated as that significant. Every time it's brought up, it's only there to establish perspectives. And her kiss scenes with Dina are only there to develop their relationship and Ellie's reluctance to engage (they have tons of dialogue outside of it tho). Last of Us has always focused on the aspect of relationships, and Part 2 still stays consistent with it, not depicting sexuality for its own sake.

To think that even as skilled as Tommy is you can say that Joel might be even more skilled. It’s impossible to believe Joel died the way he did. Joel took down single handily a good amount of fireflies. This guys had good artillery and were in constant war with the military. This means that their skills can be more or less of that of an average soldier. This means Joel is a fucking monster when it comes down to killing. In no way or form can Abby even come close to what Joel or Tommy have shown in survival.

Thier sole goal is to restore humanity by eliminating the infection. One of the biggest reveals in this game was that they are still alive, setting up TLoU3. The 3rd game will probably revolve around the Fireflies and how they will make a cure.

Relaxer: I think there will be a Part 3 concluding Ellie‘s (and maybe Abby‘s?) arc, while there‘s still room for a prequel of Joel and Tommy being hunters, and going their separate ways in the end. A game like this could portray them being immensely ruthless in an unfortunately ruthless world... I also imagine playing Tess at a certain point. I really hope for a sequel and a prequel. Unlike many others here on youtube, TLOU2 convinced me completely...

Idk if Joel needed to die at all, but we definitely already knew he cared deeply for Ellie. Dying protecting her would have been more dramatic, maybe, but it wouldn't have said anything new.
