Motion capture actors should be winning oscars. And as an actress myself, it is such a challenge to create a whole world when it's not even there. Film sets create the world for you and helps. But these people literally have to be IN it throughout the technical things and props. Amazing.

I can’t tell you guys how much I freaking love this masterpiece

My favourite part is rat king stalker separation. They basically need to know how to ride a horse, rool on the floor (professionaly), shoot, fight, sing. They made custom piping, brought a horse and a dog. That is why this game is an absolute masterpiece.

I can’t imagine how horrible it must have been for Ashley to do *that* scene. Considering all the tremendous loss she’s gone through in her life I’m just really sorry she had to go through that.

Wow!! Im actually very surprised of most of these comments are positive about this game! .when the game came out people were saying this was the worst game they have ever played. I loved this game, everything about it had me hooked. And its nice to see gamers are seeing the good about this game!👌

the amount of time and energy performers put into bringing these characters to life is just mind boggling. whether you love the game or you hate it, you've got to respect the actors for giving us 100% of their talent and effort

What's also amazing is those rooms are white and bars and the actors have to imagine being in a sewar or dark train tunnel and react accordingly. That is a fantastic talent in itself!

This must be the hardest type of acting, those type of actors should receive the highest amount of respect. Cause imagine how eerie it must be to film on this weird scenario, with nothing to see and all those weird clothes and yet have to convey intense emotions in profound scenes. It feels more difficult than other medias.

I wish more games put the effort into motion capture, animations and attention to detail that naughty dog does. Other companies just don't put this kind of effort into it like they do. They're so far ahead in this department.

You guys don’t understand. The amount of imagination needed by each actor to act in the moment with literally no props or costumes to help you is extremely difficult. Props to these actors acting their faces off, and having fun while doing it.

The thing with mcu motion capture is you think well atleast in the end the actor will get the screentime. They will even look cool as you see motion capture will give them superhuman powers to go alongside their performance. These actors did all this work in what many would consider humiliating costumes in conditions where you really have to use your imagination and act based off very little and gave terrific performances. For all they knew this game would fail or be quickly forgotten and even with the success of last of us as it is , we all know actors on video games aren't as tv/film actors. Props to them, they must have a real passion for what they do.

just finished the game last night and it destroyed me, omg so emotional, game was phenomenal .

People get so ready to shit on this game just because of one element in the entire game (the story and its director) while ignoring everything else that they did right and put so much effort in. The actors, the camera crew, the art department, vfx, sound design, everyone did their best and beyond with the awful working conditions of Naughty Dog, and it seems really unfair to me that all of this is overlooked that easily.

Naughty dog and Rockstar inspired me to go back to school. 🤗😊
