I feel like Nook finds some pretty unique games at times. Games, you don't really ever see other people make content with. Definitely someone to appreciate since content creators like him are more trustworthy than some so-called "game journalist".

Yeah Sowthistle is exactly what I suspected when he mentioned the taste. It's possible it was dandelion and just a very old and/or stressed out example. Young greens are much tastier. They're really good when you grow them yourself. When foraging though, I think your suggestions are usually tastier though.

@@Nookrium You can buy them in a lot of high end grocery stores. You could call around to Whole Foods or any other health food type places near you. Also you could grab a puffball of seeds and some dirt and grow your own delicious greens at home for virtually nothing. There's a whole bunch of tutorials on RU-vid here. Just choose the one that speaks to you. Honestly man, they're very tasty and are often in pre-packaged micro greens mixes. You could just start reading the ingredients on some the more unusual pre-packaged salad mixes and look for the one that contains dandelions. They're really tasty. Mâche is something to keep your eyes peeled for as well. That stuff is outstanding. That's an S-Tier salad green.

How do you know it doesn't come from a royalty-free resource/asset pack? Do you know that Wartales didn't also take it from elsewhere? 🤷🏼‍♂️ I think your reaction is excessive when you don't know the facts. 🙄 .

@@GuruCube so your theory is that wartales either copied it from somewhere else, or that they used the same exact assets, several of them...? well, give me another example of a game that uses any of these "assets". if they are royalty free assets must be used by so many games, it won't be hard to find examples. good luck. I can give you dozens of examples of assets that are used in dozens of generic survival games, for example. It's not like this hasn't been done before. every time a well done indie game gets big dozens of others pop up ripping the game off. Sometimes they rip the hole thing. Forest Village for example copy pasted Banished integrally. EDIT: BTW, is the artwork of the menu and the loading screen also a store bought asset? Is that your theory? The thumbnail image on this video is such a wartales rip-off that, for a second, I literally (not lying) thought this was a new wartales DLC. EDIT 2: Wartales sold 600,000 copies, many of those during early access. You don't think they would replace any store bought assets before full release? Please...

@@salvadorpalma8173, I am not saying that at all. I don't care. If it's a good game, then it's a good game. I won't write it off when I don't know the facts. Don't get me wrong. I absolutely hate theft of property, plagiarism or even overpriced and lied-about asset-flips (cough cough.. The Day After) but we shouldn't jump to conclusions. That's all. My point was that you are 'scratching your nose, to spite your face', if you don't actually know they 'stole' something. Maybe it's the best game you'll ever play? 😎

I just opened wartales. do the same. there is a menu item for credits. look at the credits. those are the names of the people these guys stole from. 4 concept artist 12 UI programmers 1 Artistics director 1 Lead game designer 5 game designers 1 Illustrator 3 UI artists Almost all different people btw. The team was huge. What more proof do you want? This random game appears with same exact art style assets... And you say one can't claim they stole it? Of course they stole it. Of course it's original content by Shiro and they wouldn't sell it. Well, if you hate theft, you sure as hell are all to keen too enforce its practice and even defend the ones who commit it. It's so hard to create something new and original. So hard... These cannot be tolerated.
