Lucy, a study from home medical student and sleep paralysis victim, moves in with her boyfriend and finds out all is not as it seems, when she falls pray to a demonic force hell bent on ripping her apart from within. Torn between sanity and the unknown, Lucy is left with no alternative but to contact a local priest, Father Roberts for help.
With time running out and the dark force consuming her from inside, Father Roberts is forced to make a choice, do the right thing and get the church involved, or help Lucy by conducting his own exorcism against the will of the church.

Scenario: Woman home alone. Picture drops off mantle. She picks up the picture and sees an image of a man in a weird, wide brimmed hat behind her. She quickly turns around. Nobody there. Her boy friend walks in. No hat. He sees the strange look on her face. "What are you doing? Are you okay"? "There was someone standing right where you are". "Nope. Just Me. Are you sure you're okay"? "Yes. how was your day"? ... End of discussion. We're 6:20 into the movie. Is it worth it to keep watching?

I turned it off immediately after this scene. This couple bored tf out of me. Must be the British thing. There’s no urgency in anything they do. They’re like strangers and it’s weird.

@@mistrjt9213 Yeah, that's kind of the vibe I was getting, too. In real life, that chick should have been hysterical. But no, let's be calm and argue over some nonsense with the angry boyfriend. The whole scenario was to unrealistic for me... Heck, for all I know the rest of the movie might be 'okay'. But I don't believe it would be much more than that. I'm going to pass on watching the rest of it.

The part of the exorcism was literally the worst exorcism i've watched in exorcism movies. The rest of the movie was fine but the ending like... come on man.. makes you feel like you wasted 2 hours of your life watching this.

I was excited for the sun to go down so I can begin this movie. Turned it off after the first hatman reflection scene. This couple is boring af and it’s like they’re walking on eggshells around each other. It’s obnoxious the way they talk to each other like they’re shy strangers. I can’t deal with another hour of their shenanigans. Not saying the movie’s bad because I wouldn’t know but I’m not going to waste anymore of _my_ time on it. To those who actually finished the movie, how was it?

You ever see a movie where it seems like the main actress has NO idea what the movie is about. God she is frustrating to watch. She plays dum half of it. It make you wanna make up your own dialog

The hell is wrong with rotten tomatoes? 100%?????? One of the worst movies I’ve seen. The acting was horrible, possession scenes were even worse. Don’t bother

Weak ass possession movie, I've seen scarier and more realistic. Not worth the watch. My husband read the first two comments that said it was good and he fell for it. Deleting it off my list

@@smkey1505 I'll give you my top 3 I rated highly and they would be The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Friend Request, and Oculus. Decent jump scares, great storylines and 3 amazing endings.
