Holy fucking shit this is a great fucking story. Ive never felt such a drastic ammount of existential dread. The story is so well written and the narration is just the cherry on top. Fucking great shit.
Lol this is so well written with the correct jargon/terminology I feel like this could be some one, "screaming into the void", while cruel mantle laughs. I mean have you seen the state of global affairs?
@@lionno10Screaming into the void that is the internet, only to be called a tinfoil-hat, fake ass ARG, r/thisreallyhappened or something. Meanwhile some flat-earth cult leader siffons millions out of some idiots with a pyramid scheme probably. True despair.
@@itsjustme7487 I think especially facebook very desperately wants your data. Even if you don't have an account, it creates a phantom profile for you with data from every site that has a "share with facebook" icon. Or something like that.
Oh guys I love artic type settings there's something about the freezing weather and isolated locations where horror strikes that gets me every time lol
@@maverick114e9 Yes I would love a Thing inspired story maybe about the search and rescue team that comes out to investigate the two research stations that went dark
This is my first time listening to you. I’ve been listening to creepy pastas and things of that nature for years. This story had me more intrigued than any other that I can remember. I think this is the first comment I’ve ever placed on RU-vid. Thanks man! Whoever you are. You’re doin good!
my favorites are space and ocean settings, but settings in places like Antarctica are also pretty awesome. you're right, it's the total isolation and desolation of those places that make them so deeply unsettling and intriguing. you have good taste, my friend!
How about we all play a game... We'll each tell a part of a story it can only be a one or two sentences long but the more we all add to it the better so what's the story.... I do love a good artic storyline... one with the icey wind cutting into the research team as they arrive at the burnt-out research station...everything was falling to pieces...we all came looking for answers..something that would explain this....
Unbelievable narration , the way you did this story sent a chill down my spine. I am telling everyone i know about your channel,. Can't wait till your next story. Keep up the great work.
This is without a doubt one of the best creepypastas I’ve ever listened to. Not only the story itself (props to the writer) but for your narration, which hits all the right beats. You can hear the increasing dread in the main character’s voice at the unknowable threat they face, the horrified realization that the world is coming apart around him. Add to that the eerie music, which is just quiet enough to almost not be noticed and yet is always there, and this is a spine-chilling piece. I would love if there was a sequel to this, expanding on that “sinister origin” but even just this is fantastic. I always listen to it when I need a good scare. Thanks Mag! Keep up the great work :)
Dude! This was an awesome story!! It's crazy the disinformation floating out on the internet, fb, and such apps. Crazy times we live in where the touch of a few buttons and we can speak and/or see what's happening on the other side of the world. As always Magnatar, you're the BEST!! Love your voice and storytelling skillz!! I'd gladly wait for you and the next delve into the void! Lots of hugs!!
Faraday cages are just misinformation. That's a lie made up by big electric to pull the wool over the eyes of the somnambulent public to make them feel safe from electromagnetism. Don't be fooled!!
@@saxkacfe2737 Just a joke referencing the video, since it was about the AI using misinformation and fake news to further its agenda. Since faraday cages could stop it, this might be a lie it’d make up to prevent that.
Wow! A RU-vid narrator that actually knows how to naturally speak a sentence, emphasise the right syllables and use the correct intonation 😱😱 Its frustrating to listen to many of the bigger channels as it spoils the immersion when every story ends up being narrated as if it were a list of questions being read out by a nasally challenged person. Off to check out the rest of the channel...
Lmao I saw the title and immediately thought of some creature or alien killing NSA employees in some kind of deep Alaskan bunker the last thing I thought was an evil A.I. taking over the world lol goes to show never judge a book by the cover guy's
@@thenewadventuresofhenry6998 only humans could take refuge in the ice cold wind....we dug deep into the ground without thought....we were running from the threat from space...... but we woke something up as we made our bunkers....something so much worse than what was coming from outer space....
Loved this story, so original and unique - and your narration was awesome, subbed within ten seconds of hearing you haha. The sound design also was great, excited to have found your channel !
This is the first video I've listened to by you, and I loved it! Clear voice and great pacing, good job man. Love seeing smaller narrators make a place for themselves amongst the titans ❤️
Love these sci stories. Was recommended through suggested videos watching creepy pastas. The ONLY criticism I have please take it as constructive. Is any words that have the word S resonates a lot in the quality and thats about it. Love the channel keep it up surprised you don't have over a 100k subs
Holy Shit dude where did you come from and why haven’t I heard of you?? I found Dark Somnium when he was less than 50K subs and now I’ve found you at less than 5K, looks like I have a knack for finding undiscovered talent LOL Keep up the good work I adore your work! (Btw I live in Alaska, so cheers from here!)
I really want a sequel and I think there is value in continuing the story. I can imagine cruel mantle manipulating her grandchildren to go meet her in Alaska somehow 😂.
Seems like it. I guess the only answer at that point if Blue Throne failed would be to use nuclear weapons in the upper atmosphere to short out all circuits worldwide. But they wouldn't be sure if they got every single one.
Or it was trying to stall to prevent any cohesive response should eventually somebody figure out there was something coming from outer space as it was already infected due to that phone found at the end and hid in plain sight all this time. Tbh at that point it's basically already check mate (fantastic that its left open by the writer). In such a scenario I don't think extermination is the endgame of who or whatever was coming. The actions taken seem to want to destabilise where possible. I'm sure had it wanted it could have nuked the planet several times over already. Either we'll get enslaved, become a food source, be forced upon a new kind of societal system or be cut from evolving further to keep us shackled to the Earth to eventually fade away. I don't know what scenario frightens me more. This is but a story albeit one that truely hits home with its horror making you look up from your phone you're always glued to to watch outside and wonder "what if?" Now, I am no fan of crazy conspiracy theories or what not but I do think there must be live outside in space. What did give me the creeps because this time it really seems to be legit is the story about the tictac shaped object two top gun pilot actually filmed in 2004 and the pentagon has declassified the data including the recording of the flight cam...what if ladies and gentlemen, what if..?!
There are enough empty, insecure, Fringey Radicals out there that we don't need an Evil AI to take over the world---they brainwash themselves. We live in a world Now where people sit around indoctrinating and Deluding themselves with the Crap they see in the media or on social networks sooooo.....!!
That was an amazing story I don't know where you get your content but I'm starting to suspect that you write these things yourself because this type of content is unlike any other channel and I feel truly fortunate to have found Magnetar. 5⭐
Crazy how I haven't heard of this channel. I'm so glad this story came up on my list of recommended pastas...(I watch a lot of them) I have not subscribed to new narration channel in a long minute, but you more than deserve the sub. Nice job, very good voice for this..that plus the excellent story kept me very invested! Thank You!🤩
Wow, lots' going on here. Pretty interesting, this one. I get that it's one of those stories that works better without a firm conclusion, but I still want one.
