not really, hollywood is notorious for appropriating foreign culture, but this film is not an appropriation. most people agree that they did a very good job at honouring the samurai culture. of course not everything will be realistic or history-accurate, but they weren't trying to be disrespectful. moreover this film is LOVED by the japanese people, so who are we to say anything
