Well I am so pleased that the famous small training helicopter is not only back in production but a brand-new Schweitzer helicopter company building the best in piston and turbine 300/333 aircraft, Peter a fan and 300 training in progress pilot 👍
I went through Rucker 86/87 TH-55A veteran here. When I went back to the 64 AQC, I saw the last 55 classes going through. What a blast flying out of Shell AHP to all the stage fields as a 19yr old kid. (WOC IERW 86-41)
I flew the forerunner ,the Hughes 200 only did 8 hours mainly because lessons were eating all my apprentice wage and there was no guarantee of a job after qualifying 🙋🏼🤑🤑🤑
Our 300C's did not have a governor, so pilots manually controlled the throttle throughout the flight. It does have a correlator though, which aids in power management when lowering or raising the collective.
Correct! It was one of that Schweizer built before Sikorsky acquired the line, but did not produce any more aircraft. Recently the line was restarted by RSG in Texas so new Schweizers are now being produced!
I think the LINE production aré in continued but slow enter Texas and New Zealand, I see one offered for sale as Brand New, the old factor did sold for Co. tô Texas
It’s not, Schweizer initially sold their licenses to Sikorsky but Sikorsky was only interested in Schweizer’s unmanned vehicles. So Schweizer got back together and bought the licenses for the 300 and 330 back from Sikorsky. The 300C, 300CBI and S330 are still in production right now. (Since 2018), there were a few years under Sikorsky when they were discontinued, this makes it confusing 😅
Because the little profit no is nice for Greats Factors didnt want to follow ahead, big helicopters give a resonable deal, It is not a tô much profitable
