then try those ones instead ;) for the live recording quality (audio only): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pnlg-M-ZAwM.html for the emotion of the live performance: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5KqZ1DZwiPU.html if I convinced you, well... call me :)
true but not the essence of the band as such . they started out as a homage to the 50's/60's crooners. i do love the 2nd album totally . just think they were better then. my opinion dude
nah, they sped through that performance and it was pretty tame. This is loud, raunchy and obnoxious, which is what Lennon and the rest of the band had made the original to be
Oh my god, how did people survive seeing this live? This amount of amazing would have killed me in the first minute. I mean holy shit, I almost passed out when Alex started headbanging
@@kiiakaislakoitto3597 it’s a problem because I’ve seen a lot of people only complement Alex’s singing and how “oh he put his own twist on his song” as though miles is virtually nonexistent.
I've read some people saying that Alex makes all the attention be drawn to himself leaving Miles in the shadows, since he makes a much more "electrifying" performance... I disagree, both are outstanding.
Alfredo I think ultimately they both love sharing the spotlight (I might even go so far as to say Miles and Alex work so well together because Alex is known for being really shy and Miles is such a natural performer so they have a really good relationship on and off stage) but Alex gets all the attention from the new people who jumped onboard the Arctic monkeys fan train (myself included, although I've grown to love all of the members of the band itself and their associated projects)
It’s a cover. They have the rights to perform it onstage, but not to release a studio version, let alone a music video. That being said, it’s also a Beatles song, so the rights to a studio cover would be extremely expensive or hard to get.
I absolutely love Alex’s verse to this song but Miles has this rasp in his voice that is perfect for the higher notes, both kill it regardless though I’m so obsessed
And again 5 days later after extensive research: THIS is the best Miles ever did that solo...or at least that I've found on youtube. These two together are fantastic... I have to say when it passed over to Alex the first time, I felt my heart leap out of my chest. But Miles and his Beatles-esque tone in his voice... *shakes head in admiration* and the guitar work is sexy af. I mean that fool is **sauntering** and that guitar is a lucky, lucky... Bass is GOLD
@@user-bk9fc7sg2f honestly same like Alex is great, especially in this song, BUT MILES BABY!!!!! My god he's tearing up the stage with that solo and all his lovely facial expressions
I have no idea who these guys are. I was skeptic when I clicked on the video that the sound from this band was not gonna do justice to the Beatles. I was wrong, they sound great!
Miles Kane is the one with the buzzed hair and has his own solo career, the other one with the longer hair is Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys (I’m sure you know this by now since it’s been 4 years but yk)
Holy fuck just imagine the Beatles stayed together long enough to have played this live, John in his white suit screaming these lyrics with Paul, Geroge and Ringo backing him.
Hard to imagine especially since they broke up almost immediately after the record came out. I'm not saying they didn't perform this song but they definitely didn't do it much.
This is amazing. Imagine the creation of this song and all the little parts they kept adding to it that just made this so much better and better. This is by far my favorite Beatles song of all time.
